Although I have 5 stars

Although I have 5 stars for for they are a bit right around my neck. It is a bit of a thicker neck but also over the ears gets tight if on for several hours. I really like the sound and the levels the speakers have. Threes phones are so easily pout on and taken off and charge fairly quick.

Great Headphones for Equestrians

I ride horses and hate in ear headphones or ones that prevent me hearing the world around me. These are fantastic! They fit around the back of my helmet without any interference. Easy to hear what is happening around me and easily allows me to take calls when needed.

Better than any traditional in-ear I've tried

I was a bit skeptical because I'd tried a cheap knock-off brand of bone conductiong headphones and didn't care for them at all. Still, I kept hearing rave reviews from other runners about Choks and when they had a sale,I took the plunge. I ordered the Open Run Pro Mini and crossed my fingers they were as good as I'd hoped. Shoks are comfortable, unintrusive, fit perfectly against the side of your face, don't slip off when you sweat, they are lightweight, the buttons are easy to use and understand, even mid-run. When NOT actively excercising, like say, listening to an audio book while doing chores, I do notice them a bit more, but they aren't uncomfortable at all. Amazingly, You really CAN hear everything around you as well as whatever you are playing. It's not weird or strange and the only way they vibrate against your skin is if you crank them up to full blast and play something with a lot of bass. I'm totally sold! The only small downsides are I can't wear them in bed because of the design (haven't tried flipping them around) and getting them to connect to the 'correct' device when I['m using more than one is a bit fiddly. both of those downsides are the same as ANY set of listening devices, so It's not even a bad thing, just a minor annoyance.

Still not small enough

I so wanted to be free from putting earbuds in my ear, so I had high hopes. But I'm petite enough that even the size small were too big, and uncomfortable with my hair worn down over them. Possibly the pair I had were malfunctioning, but I would hear an occasional "bzzip" sound. Lastly, while I think I have strong hearing, I would turn these all the way up and still struggle to hear over auto sounds. I hope a smaller pair will eventually be released and that a snugger fit will improve the sound quality, or that the band could be adjustable depending on hair styles? I wish the new earbuds were bone conducting, then the size of the band wouldn't matter.

Great for road biking!

Finally had a chance to bike outdoors and they worked as advertised. Fit comfortably even with a bike helmet and shades on. Sound was great and could still hear traffic and outside noise so I felt safe on the roads. My only disappointment, and it’s a minor one, is I wish the battery life was a little longer. Just need to remember to charge after a long ride.

WFH, Working Out, and Sound Quality

The OpenRun PRO have been a total change to the headphone industry. Combining isolated listening while keeping my ear canal open has been extremely helpful while working from home. Since I have dogs and a partner in the house, I can hear all their goings on while not disturbing anyone with work call noise and music. I was even impressed by the connectivity ease and distance that was lacking on my work laptop with another "fruit" company's product. The PROs are light and sturdy which makes me feel confident moving around. I also have small ear canals, so in ears we falling out and hurting me. Over ears were just too bulky. For the sound, bone conducting is an interesting experience, and you have to consider what these are designed for. I do not understand how they achieve such great sound separation, but I was happily surprised. Listening to subtle sounds such as ASMR videos was very satisfying. Even while listening to something heavy and gritty like System of a Down, I could still make out all track clearly. I do not experience a booming bass, but that's not why I am using this product. Really low lows would take this product into the stratosphere I am looking for clarity and comfort and 100% absolutely the OpenRun PRO achieves this.

Best choice so far

These are my 3rd pair of Shokz, the opencomm were great everyone could hear me wherever I was, the OpenRun is what I went to after those which I loved and still have but the day these came out I put my order in and have not regretted it one bit! The shipping was fast the audio is second to none period!

nits .... The charging cable

nits .... The charging cable attachment was better on the older Aeropex model. Maybe my reaction is because it attaches in the opposite direction The older Aeropex model felt better to the touch. Were the different material chosen because they improved the sound? I hope so. user-friendly... it's bluetooth praise ... I can't believe the sound of the older Aeropex model could be substancially improved. The OpenRun Pro is definitely plays LOUDER, with DEEPer bass and sounds MORE detailed. AMAZING !!!! Also, "mini" fits !!!

Enjoying my new Open Run Pro headphones

I do enjoy my new Open Run Pro headphones, they are replacing my previous Open Run headphones which I liked until something came loose in the left earpiece and would stop functioning when leaning too far forward. I still use the Open Runs but do like the Open Run Pros better. The pro version is nice with the app as well being able to change to voice emphasizing for books/podcasts improves sound quality, they feel the same on my head but do seem to charge quicker, but they are new and almost everything new is better than the old version
