I actually think the best thing about the current Roku is the new remote. Not withstanding the charging cable has a new connector, Tech companies seem to love changing the connector, the new remote has a low battery warning indicator that also serves to alert when the remote is completely charged. Excellent.

I had an older model of the Roku Ultra that kept loosing the sound, would lockup after fast forwarding and sometimes not take voice commands. I was daily or even several times a day having to power cycle the unit. The updated version works faster without any of the same problems.

Bought a Roku Ultra to update an older tv. It has been great with better 4K support, has a more robust processor that allows for much quicker flow between apps, it will even basically keep apps open as if in a tab and you can quickly resume your place from app to app on many apps without it having to close and reopen like older Roku devices ( works similar to multiple apps open on a phone ). Other neat features are rechargeable remote, remote finder, Bluetooth support for audio headphones. Good stuff !

I’m so thankful I purchased the Roku Ultra I bought the Roku Stick also, The Roku stick had trouble connecting to my wifi and after reading I found out the Roku Ultra was hardwired capable became f where my Router location was too fare away. I then used the Roku Stick where my bedroom TV was located and wifi connected easy. Now I can watch RAV News without any problems. LGHDTV 8000 wouldn't allow it and now I can watch not just RAV but many other news and entertainment without the LAG time LG gave me. Thank you so much Roku.

Roku corrected a deficiency in its last iteration of the Roku Ultra. I purchased a Roku Ultra a few months ago and was very disappointed when the chargeable remote used an outdated charging port on the remote. The latest version has a USB-C port. Hallelujah! I have been a fan of the Ultra for many years. I was disappointed that the SD Port had been eliminated, which I would not have been so disappointed if they had significantly increased the memory size. It is adequate, but could be enhanced. But all said, I LOVE the Ultra and I have recommended it over the years to countless others.

Awesome for my set up. Roku Ultra center of house HDMI to amplified HDMI splitter & then split to Livingroom tv, kitchen tv, master bedroom tv, and master bathroom tv. The Bluetooth remote is amazing. Can control from any room I’m watching. Audio is also synched to all TVs. Works like cable without the cost. Couldn’t have this set up without the Bluetooth remote

This works great - my TV is a first generation smart TV so very slow and clunky. This box hooks up quickly, effortlessly and immediately boots right up and goes into all my streaming services lightening fast with our fiber internet. Couldn’t be happier.

Straight garbage! Constant random error code for HDCP, and either disconnects from internet or freezes up out of nowhere which is extremely frustrating in the middle of a sporting event. When it does work right the remote does not. If you do your research these are all problems that have been reported with this box. Customer service is ZERO help. I spent 30+ minutes on the phone with them going through all of their troubleshooting only to have the guy then tell me to send pictures of my box and that if I had more problems to use that email that would go directly to him and he would remedy the situation. Well, I did that 3 times and still no response! The box is worthless and so is the customer support!

Changed to the Roku Ultra from a Firestick due to constant buffering and command execution lag. What a difference! The Ultra makes the streaming experience much smoother and fast command response. I will be replacing my other Firesticks with the Ultra.

We had this device for less than 3 months when it stopped connecting to the internet. I spent 3 hours chatting with “tech support” sending me through the same sequence of restarts and resets that I had already done. I have two other Rokus that work perfectly and in the exact same location on the same TV. But Roku refuses to honor their warranty. They want me to reach out to my ISP and do a factory reset on my modem and router which no other device (including multiple Rokus) have any issue maintaining a connection with. I have had good luck with Roku in the past but this device was a complete dud and Roku refuse to stand behind it. They want to waste your time going in circles until you give up. I would not buy another Roku after this experience.
