I have 7 Roku sticks and have helped others get them. I still prefer them due to fewer wires where the TV is hanging on the wall and I use one when traveling. But what an improvement for the living room! It responds faster, but I don't know how to prove or measure that. Big deals for me are the lighted and rechargeable remote control, the impressive way that it connects to my wireless headphones, and the remote control finding feature. I'm truly impressed.

My first exposure to Roku was purchasing a Roku TV. I fell in love with their front end operating system, then bought two Roku Ultra’s rather than using my other brand’s operating systems to navigate and stream. Roku makes it super straight forward and easy to setup and use. Very impressed with the speed of the navigation and how intuitive it is. Roku Rocks!

Pretty poor upgrade over the old Roku Ultra I purchased in 2021.little bit faster UI but were 6 months past launch and almost all the apps I use to watch sports have terrible motion issues. Sports look terrible on Max, Prime Video, Peacock, and Apple TV apps. On demand content looks great, but anything live is a slog fest looking like 30 fps. No other Roku device in my house has these issues. Raising the white flag on this particular device. Its gone into a spare bedroom.

This is the 10th or so product from Roku that I have purchased. Everytime I buy a new one it out does the last one without rewriting the book. The new additions to the remote improve it without taking away what was good about it. Definitely worth a purchase especially if you are using an older Roku device.

Generally happy but miss earplugs that my first ultra had. My tv is not a smart tv so I have to turn it on from the tv remote. Every else works from Roku remote. I have 3 Roku tvs and 1 smart tv with Roku ultra and 3 non smart tvs with Roku 4or4+ all in use throughout the day.

Now, I love Roku, but this one i would rather have never bought. Hdcp errors, won't stay turned off, can't turn off with remote,it just turns off the tv instead. Every time I try to use it, the tv says no signal and I have to remove the HDMI cable and put it back in. It's past warranty y at this point, so I can't return it. But don't buy it. Get the sound bar instead, this is poorly designed and does not work like it should.

I have a Yamaha Surround Sound home theater amplifier with approx. 20 different genre choices. The Roku won't let me select anything but "standard" mode so, I am not using all the speakers available in my set=up. There has to be a way to solve this problem but I have not found it. There is not a manual and I have not found one on=line. Still, there are nice features and I will probably get another one for another TV.

Love the remote with the backlight action, and I appreciate the rechargeable battery via usb-c as well. We upgraded from whatever Ultra model was available back in 2018 or 2019? It served us well, but we eventually needed to buy a micro sd card to store apps so they'd stop "reloading" or whatever it was. Speed wise, honestly it still feels just as fast and as smooth as our previous Roku, which handled everything we threw at it with no problems. So far this new one seems to be more of the same, which is good as it's been handling my 80 Mbps blu-ray back ups without a hiccup over the 100 Mbps ethernet link. I have no idea how good the WiFi since we use the ethernet built into the Roku. It's a solid device, and I recommend it over ANYTHING else on the market, including other (cheaper) Roku products.

Don't be cheap. It's worth it. I was disappointed when the upgraded Roku years ago was only WiFi. This one has an ethernet connection for fast streaming and is Bluetooth capable so you can continue listening to your show in the shower if you want.
