The sound and video quality is great. Very easy to install and setup. There are only two things that would make this a better experience. It would be better if the remote was able to control multiple devices such as amplifier and DVD player. It would also be better if it was more intuitive to make it easier to navigate through multiple apps. The voice command feature doesn’t always tune to the correct channel in the correct app.

I already had another Roku product, but I am trying to get rid of cable so I decided to get this Roku Ultra to prepare for that. Even though I set up the first Roku, I don't remember that at all, so there was a bit of being nervous about it, but it was very easy actually. Roku has common sense prompts so there was nothing to be worried about. There is also a lot of information online (YouTube, etc.) for more information on anything you don't quite understand, so don't forget to tap those resources.

My 5 year old son is the main roku fan in the house. He enjoyed our standard roku so much that he dressed as a roku remote for Halloween. When we told customer service, they sent him a box of swag. Including a t-shirt that’s his favorite. We upgraded our main tv to the Roku ultra after that and it’s been flawless

This was a gift, glad to get it , we love Roku service. Smaller sticks were prone to heat dissipation issues. This one seems good so far. I did notice an issue with volume compensation. Some feeds are very loud compared to others. Even with the device settings done correctly. Maybe software updates will address this.

Don't be cheap. It's worth it. I was disappointed when the upgraded Roku years ago was only WiFi. This one has an ethernet connection for fast streaming and is Bluetooth capable so you can continue listening to your show in the shower if you want.

I love my new Roku Ultra. No more loosing my remote as I can voice activate my remote and find it in a flash. I just say.....Hey Roku find my remote and my remote beeps and flashes light for me to find it right away. Thanks Roku for a wonderful product! TR

I have insignia with Roku built-in in the living room. I've had it for about 10 years now but I could never get Apple TV to work on it and with the ultra I can actually watch Apple TV on the living room. The other apps on there seem very updated. I love that you can actually page the remote just in case it's lost between the couch cushions. Battery holds up well on the remote. And the voice feature is a nice thing to have.

Have 3 Ultras now. My OG still works and performs great. That being said, the Latest Ultra(this one) has some welcome refreshes. 1) Upgraded Processor 2) Dolby Vision and ATMOS support 3) The Remote is really nice the responds well to commands. LOVE the backlight. The built in rechargeable batteries seem to last months? I’ve been using it for over a month and only had to charge it once, that was just because its pre charge it came with ran out.

We use Roku to stream all of our favorites. I've found it to have a really good picture quality. Previously, we were using the Roku Stick 4k, I think, but it'd get really, really hot. I hesitated about the set-top box and didn't want something bulky in my entertainment center. However, this is smaller than I expected, and I was pleased to see the remote lights up when disturbed. The WiFi is much faster, but I like to have it plugged directly into the Ethernet for the fastest speeds.

I had a really old Roku unit, which worked fine until an Southern California Edison outage. I upgraded to the Ultra and the new Ultra unit worked great until another outage. It took about two weeks before I was able to get it up and running, following all of the steps and process of elimination. I have lived in a remote rural location for thirty years and was happy to get my Roku streaming functioning again. Love Roku for its options and ease of use.
