I love my Roku ultras. I now have three Roku devices. Two Ultras and one that is 11 years old. The Roku channel is my main viewing in addition to apps for Tubi, Hoopila, and my local stations for news I hardly watch my cable TV, which I would ditch if my wife would let me.

Transition from cable channels to streaming was effortless. I waited years because I was afraid I wouldn’t be able to figure it out. Roku made it seamless. We are in our mid 60’s and now love streaming with Roku. Sorry we waited this long to ditch our expensive cable provider.

I love my new Roku Ultra. No more loosing my remote as I can voice activate my remote and find it in a flash. I just say.....Hey Roku find my remote and my remote beeps and flashes light for me to find it right away. Thanks Roku for a wonderful product! TR

This is my second Roku ultra, and it’s even better with one exception: Roku removed Paramount+ and added Prime Video. However, the remote is now backlit, which makes up for everything. I highly recommend it. (I still think they should’ve kept Paramount+, though!!)

Simplicity of disconnecting and reconnecting to the TV I chose to watch in different rooms of the house is extremely easy. I have 2 Samsung TV's and the remotes have way to many buttons honestly I do not know what 1/2 of them are for so I connect my Roku. Especially at night Roku makes the remote super easy to use in the dark. I find my new Roku (I have had multiple for the past decade) makes watching my favorite TV shows convenient and hassle free

I'm 74 and had to get rid of my expensive cable boxes which were costing me 75 a month for rental. I have some computer expertise, but streaming was not one of them - so I forced myself to dig into alternatives to the boxes (which I had 5). My son had a ROKU tv so I was somewhat aware of the navigation and thought - if I go with ROKU Ultra to replace ALL the Spectrum boxes, maybe that would work since Spetrum is available as a streaming source. So that is what I did, plugging three of them into direct ethernet connections and two working on 5G wifi network. I could not be more happy with my decision. We now have more channels than we can handle. The remotes DO NOT interfer with each other which is surprising and no long and drawn out reboots of the boxes to put up with anymore. ROKU Ultima devices saved the day.

I've had the Ultra Roku player for over a year and cannot get they're Multi View feature working, no option when selecting channels. According to Roku website I have proper firmware and software updates, as well as proper HD TV. Never has worked., despite having all Roku website requirements.

I decided to update my Roku device, so I ordered the Ultra on the Roku website. It was very easy to connect to my TV and audio receiver. The remote is a significant upgrade with nicely lighted buttons and a rechargeable battery. I was replacing batteries in my universal remote about once a month, so this is a very nice feature. I was able to set up the device very easily to control both my tv and audio receiver. Overall, I am extremely happy with the Roku Ultra and it is a definite step up.

I'm going to give it a 4/5, with the only reason it doesn't get full marks being the fact that the streaming apps on the device occasionally just won't play video, it will be black. The only way to fix it is to restart the device in the system settings. But other than that it works well and I'm not regretting my purchase. I would recommend it to a friend.

This Roku replaced an older Roku device that I had for a very very long time. This new version is nice and fast. Video and sound quality is excellent! The only quirky thing is the voice remote. It sometimes listens to you without saying the wake word. I just flip the switch off on the remote when that happens. I have my Roku set to control the volume on my receiver via ARC. I find this remote/Roku highly sensitive with the volume compared with my old Roku remote. If I press and hold the volume up I am blasting my neighbors out in a matter of seconds. I have learned to just keep tapping the volume rather than hold. Other than those two things this Roku is excellent and I am glad I bought it.
