My new Roku ultra far surpasses my previous Roku three. It has more features than I ever imagined! I would highly recommend it to others. It’s far more responsive and I never have to restart it like I did my previous Roku three. If you’re looking for a new Roku streaming device, I highly recommend the Roku Ultra.

The Roku Ultra Player (4850R) is the best Roku player to date. Works reliably, has a powerful processor and memory so it is very fast, and has excellent picture and sound quality. Supports Dolby Vision and latest surround sound modes well. Comes with the latest and best Roku voice remote with rechargeable battery and backlighting.

I bought one of the new Roku‘s that were sticks like the fire stick. Then I found out that a wall mounted TV. Can’t see the stick without an extender. The only other kind of device Roku is now offering is the ultra. I received the stick in the mail and it still would not have reached out for my TV that is wall mounted. It seems the remotes can’t see around the corners.. I don’t know why Roku didn’t know this, and I don’t understand why they got rid of all their other lower priced, front of the TV devices. I love the ultra five stars! I hate the fact that you can’t get a lower price Roku device that will fit in front of a TV one star!

We were having trouble with our TV kicking out all the time. We did some research and was told we needed a new streaming device. We liked our roku stick but it seems that was the problem because since we replaced it with roku ultra it runs faster and smoother and we don't have the problem of being kicked out the system.

This is my second Roku ultra, and it’s even better with one exception: Roku removed Paramount+ and added Prime Video. However, the remote is now backlit, which makes up for everything. I highly recommend it. (I still think they should’ve kept Paramount+, though!!)

I was tired of the Amazon Firestick shutting off my programs and tv when paused. Plus, I hated that I could not delete any of the unnecessary Amazon apps. They take up too much room. So, I got the Roku to compare it. I love the Roku. I plan on upgrading all my tvs with this, once I can afford more. The fact that I can use my Bluetooth headphones is also a wonderful plus. Love that.

Needed to add a USB port to my TV. Originally tried a no-name Chinese media player, which was terrible. Got a Roku Ultra instead, and am very happy. Plays files from a flash drive flawlessly, and gives you the same style of captions as a Roku TV. Remote also controls TV and volume, which is nice.

The Roku Ultra is still the best streaming device on the market. There are certainly other devices that are good performers, but none of them combine the high 4K performance, availability of apps and value that the Ultra does. I have owned over 15 different Roku devices through the years and the current model is without a doubt Roku's best.

Previously had three 480x Ultras with wifi5. Only got sound through the rear surround speakers of my Samsung 990D sound bar when I would watch movies that specifically said "Dolby Atmos". With the new 485x Ultras with wifi6 I get sound from the rear speakers with all channels and programing even with older shows that I know were not remastered. I don't know what the difference is in the two Ultras technically, but would definitely recommend upgrading plus getting wifi6 streaming speeds!

I just upgraded from the 2017 model to the 2024 model, love the huge improvements. My favorites are the lighted remote and the Bluetooth headset capability with my Bose headset. The new Roku is very obviously much faster and more pleasing to work with. Thank you, Roku for updating your product like you have.
