Haven't had enough time with it to give it 5 stars. Quality unit... very heavy. If you have any thoughts of being able to throw this around after delivery please know that your back will hate you. I find it interesting that Westinghouse is offering free gifts for a review. As a buyer it makes me wonder how many people get a true sense of the unit before reviewing. The free gift is a nice touch but it seems like a bribe. Anyway, looking forward to many years of use from this unit.

I purchased this unit to run my house when needed. Out of the box easy to assemble and the unit fired right up. We live in Ohio and it's currently 20 out and it still fired up using the key fob . On a test run of 1 hr this united powered above and beyond what we needed to run in our home.

I am still reading the manual and have only one comment -- nothing describes 240v operation using the L14-30A connector -- no AMP spec'ed for the connector etc, or how the house wiring should be connected - All in all, the documentation and the provided tools are a cut above all other genset's out there and the price point ie value is superb. I have not had the opportunity to fire up this unit but I expect it will exceed my expectations as it has for many other users. One sad note, through no fault of GE, one wheel arrived totally broken and I am hoping to get a replacement from the help line - all indications are that GE product support folks are great to work with and will help out as best they can. Taking all required precautions, I plan to install this is my "generator closet" in my garage permanently wired to my manual transfer switch externally vented and outside air fed as required ( same as gas feed hot water heaters are here by code)

Have only run for about one hour to make sure it was working. Connected some loads (refrigerator, window AC unit, industrial fan and a few lights) and it easily handled everything without any hesitation. The handle used to move the generator around only engages one lifting load point side. The other side has a small gap so that the lifting point isn't engaged (minus one star). Also, the remote start/stop transmitter control doesn't work. I bought new batteries and installed them and the transmitter appears to be working as the LED light blinks when I press either button, but nothing happens. I've held the button down for up to 10 seconds and still nothing (minus another star). Based on what I've seen so far, I wouldn't recommend this to a friend. Only time will tell if there are any other quality issues.

We just purchased this generator; however, assembly was quick and easy. The generator started right up with propane fuel and it appears this will be a great generator for our needs. We have not used the gasoline feature at this time but assume it will work just as well. Living in Florida, we purchased this in preparation for hurricane season as well as normal power outages that sometimes occur throughout the year.

Just purchased this generator on Black Friday and I will admit that I have no mechanical skills but I was able to following the instructions and assembled the product and add the lubricants and then start the motor without any issues. Ran a few devices off the generator power and everything went great. Again GREAT GENERATOR !!!

I bought this in December 2021. We often lose power in the winter snow and ice storms. I have no alternate source for heating except the furnace. Finally got the house all set up and fired up the generator and did a text run on the power. All worked great.

The generator was shipped in a timely manner. It was easy to assemble and started with no problem. Initial run indicates that the generator has sufficient power to run everything that I expect to in the event of a power outage. The only issue is that the generator arrived with a damaged recoil assembly. As a result, the manual pull start rope would not recoil properly. I contacted the service department, and they are shipping a new recoil assembly.

bought the WGen7500 due to a power outage. I got it all set up and it wouldn't generate any power . called the store couldn't get any help. called westinghouse they opened a claim.(no response yet) Friend came over had the same problem. The GFI's on the plugs needed to be reset. they are black on black you can't see them with the rubber flaps over them. maybe if the buttons had some red on them it would have been a little less stressful. The WGen-7500 works fine and no problems after the first one.

Went 2 weekends in a row with losing power…wasn't going to let that happen again. After doing some research on line and reading some reviews I opted for this one. Although I don't want to lose power, I feel comfortable knowing my house will still be up and running.
