I purchased this because we have frequent powers outrages after storms. We have an all electric home, and this powered everything. We did not use the baseboard heaters, but we did use space heaters. We were able to cook, use lights, watch television. Excellent!

The last time we had a power outage we had to get our neighbor to start our old generator with MUCH difficulty. This generator had minimal assembly required and started up like a dream with the electric remote start. It was also much quieter than our old generator. Very happy with this purchase!

After a thorough research of portable generators, I bought the WGen7500 for use in our home. It will run the HW boiler, the refrigerator, our wifi network and cable TV should the power go out in our New England winters. I was very impressed with the quality of the product. The unit came with everything you need to get going. It took about 5 minutes to put the wheels and two support feet on. Electric start worked great. It was quieter than I expected. We believe we are now ready to effectively deal with old man winter.

Setup was easy. Love the remote. Got me through a 48 hour power outage in Texas after 2021 winter ice storm. Powered refrigerator, microwave, several space heaters, electric blanket, essentially everything we needed in our house except the heat pump (space heaters took care of our heating needs).

Purchased to provide emergency power for my home (and other things as well). The dealer's reviews (Power Equipment Direct) were so uniformly high that I changed my mind from the mfg I planned to use and purchased the W7500. Uncrated it, assembled it, fueled it and started up first press of the starter. Hope I don't need it for emergency any time soon, but am confident it will perform as advertised.

I bought this to replace an old generator that finally died during our last power outage. While only using it limited so far, I am excited about it! Not sure what to think about the fob starter, but I can see where it benefits if one wanted to turn on/off generator without getting into the elements.

Excellent ! set up was clearly explained in manual and was a breeze to assemble wheel kit , add oil ,connect battery, add gas and push start . I am impressed that everything came with this generator especially the battery charger which is so convenient to use . The test went flawlessly ! Now I have peace of mind for the next Hurricane that hits Florida.

Had a power outage and was informed it would be over 50 hours until power would be restored?! Needed a generator fast. After researching and price checking on my dying phone I found my Westinghouse WGen 7500 cheaper than I was finding smaller 5500w units. Later was informed by my Dad that this unit will power way more than what we needed for essentials! Great buy!

Great item for home power as well as a GREAT! value. Look at this one if you are looking for a house back up generator. Good Strong features and really easy to set up and use. Now, thought I would never say this but ready for a power outage to try this baby out!

bought the WGen7500 due to a power outage. I got it all set up and it wouldn't generate any power . called the store couldn't get any help. called westinghouse they opened a claim.(no response yet) Friend came over had the same problem. The GFI's on the plugs needed to be reset. they are black on black you can't see them with the rubber flaps over them. maybe if the buttons had some red on them it would have been a little less stressful. The WGen-7500 works fine and no problems after the first one.
