We researched a lot of Generators before choosing the Westinghouse WGen7500. We found it was far more feature rich than some of it's competitors in the same size and price range. Very easy to assemble the wheels and started right up on the first click.

I bought this 2 years ago for emergencies and never had to use this until this week. Added gas and it started right up. Ran like a charm and supplied electricity to the whole house with the exception of central A/C which I didnt expect. Highly recommended1

We just purchased this yesterday. It has all the features my husband was looking for plus a few surprises he didn't realize it had. He likes the electric start feature and the data center. Was really happy and surprised with the remote start key fob. It also has lots of great safety features.

Why would someone leave a product review, at time of registration??? I have just received this unit, and am already having issues (data center is blank, or blinks displaying "P-00"). I would love to give a proper review, after product has been broken-in.

THIS GENERERATOR IS BUILT LIKE A TANK. VERY WELL PROTECTED ON ALL SIDES AND WAS VERY EASY TO SET UP AND START. ELECTRIC START AND REMOTE START ARE JUST A BONUS. BIG WHEELS AND A EASY HANDLE TO MANEUVER WHERE NEEDED. THIS GENERATOR HAS PLENTY OF POWER FOR ANY USE I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMEND THIS UNIT TO ANYONE LOOKING FOR POWER AND RELIABILITY AND PRICED RIGHT.

Havent used generator yet. But directions state to "unbond" the ground if used for home backup. Thankfully the electrician was here and could do that. However a mix of standard and metric sockets were needed plus 3 different sizes were required when the nuts were each a similar size. Doesn't seem to make a lot of sense.

Have owned several generators over the past 30 years. This one is better built with more convenient control layout than any of the others. With the remote start I can sit in the family room to start it without making sure that I'm dressed for the weather.

Easy to unbox and assemble but requires 2 to assemble the wheels and feet. Remote start works great and is very convenient. Produces plenty of power and doesn't bog down with high surge loads. Included instructions were clear on how to convert the generator to a floating neutral (most homes with a transfer switch).

Purchased last month for a recent hurricane. I'm happy I didn't need it, but have it to hook up to my whole home power upgrade for next time. This unit is transfer box ready. I'm impressed how easy it was to set up and start! Ran smooth! Highly recommend this generator!

The w Gen 7500 came within 3 or 4 days. Off loaded via power tailgate and left at my driveway. I was able to put the wheels on by myself in about two minutes. Then I was able to manually transport it to my garage and charge the battery. It has great ballance and moves easily. Have not used the unit and can not speak to the longevity or it's dependability at this point but it ships quick and has 7500/9500 W power with a key fob remote start/stop. Not sure the fob will be useful to start since you need the on off switch in the on position. That will cause the timer to run as if the unit is running even though you may not have it running. I also expect that will draw from the battery. So, I think the remote fob will end up being a shut off tool but then your timer will continue to run and draw from your battery. So, I'm not sure how useful it will be. But it was included and not extra so we will see if it can be incorporated.
