I've had this generator sitting in a box for almost 3 years and just pulled it out because of an impending hurricane. Due to the fact that it is electric start, I did not think that after three years the battery would still crank it up. Long story short, I put it together, filled the reservoir with oil, put fuel in it, hit the start button, and it started right up. It hasn't been hours tested, but I am impressed with the fact that it started after sitting for so long.

My Westinghouse WGen7500 arrived in an amazing secure manner on a wooden pallet & brought right into my garage. I uncrated it & followed the "Quick Start Guide" without a hitch. I had it up and running withing 10 minutes, tops. Not one wrinkle. Sweet! Oh, this is far quieter than my Generac unit that is a neighborhood blaster. Ooof

Finished installing my 10 circuit transfer switch and outside connection box. Started my Wgen7500 and connected my 25 ft power cord. Went inside to my panel and switched all 10 switches to gen and ran my whole house except dryer and A/C. Both watt meters were balanced at 1540 watt and gen never really went under any load. Ran it this way for an hour before switching back to line power and cooled the generator. Wow, I was impressed with this unit. Thanks Westinghouse.

Purchased in Nov. Finally installed a Transfer box this past weekend. (Due to Severe Storms, knocking out power in near by counties.Had 6 Circuits to hook up in case of power outage, HVAC took up the 220 line, Furnace, freezers,refrigerator and lights. shut off power(to re-enact a power outage) Everything ran Perfect!! Generator a Beast!!!

This generator is outstanding in all respects. Easy set up. Electric and remote start worked first time. Very user friendly design and easy access to all circuits. I have had and or used many generators over the years and this is by far the best one, and I though an especially good price!

I live in Florida. After the past two hurricane seasons caught me off guard I decided to purchase a generator for the next season and potential power outage. I also bought a transfer switch kit to connect the generator to my home and it works like a dream. It is a gas engine so it is a little loud, but to be expected.

I bought this to replace the backup genny that had been in service for 30+ years. this one is a step up in size and brings useful new features. Assembly and set up was a breeze and everything needed right down to the oil and funnel are included. And Westinghouse is a name to be trusted.

Received this generator about a week ago. Put it together and filled it up with oil and gas. Turned everything on and used the remote key fob to start it. It fired right up with no issues. Runs perfectly. And it was great timing as we lost power yesterday. So I had it running for about 20 hours before the power came back on. No issues.

Bought this due to reviews and hopefully enough watts for powering home when we lose power. Started up on first pull after finding the choke and started up right away using the push to start button. Used the enclosed remote to turn it off. The proof of the unit will be the first time we use but so far very happy with this generator.

Bought this a month ago for power outage usage, used an electrician for hooking up, haven't used for it yet other than the trial run, was easy to start and not too noisy, love the remote start option and was able to power the entire home. I don't have to worry anymore about winter weather power outage!!
