After a power outage, I brought this generator as recommended by a neighbor. Setup was a breeze. The generator started easily on the first push of the button on the unit. The push button start is a real plus! It seemed to run smoothly. While we ended up not needing it, we feel good to know we have something that will handle our needs with the next outage. The generator is heavy but has wheels and a handle so it is easy to move. After a couple of months, I started it up. Needed to use the pull cord. After that the push button start was fine. It did seem to run a bit rough though but gas was a bit low and nothing was connected and I understand that may be the reason. But I'm still feeling good about this beauty and that we will be ready for the next outage

I purchased this superb generator for emergency back up , after suffering so much in Florida during out of power for few days , and lost of lots of food from the freezer and refrigerator then I decided to buy a new generator , looking for all over the net this one meet my expectation , after reading the manual and put the wheels and the rubber bumper , fill the engine with the provided motor oil , add fuel and started righ up , all in about 45 minutes ,can not be more happy . Purchased as a backup generator for occasional power outages. Item came in perfect condition and was delivered right to my garage door. Unboxing and assembly was complete in only 15 minutes. Directions were easy to read and well written. After adding oil and fuel, I turned the fuel valve on and pushed the start button. The generator started instantly to my surprise! This generator is very quiet compared to the 3,000 watt generator I was upgrading from. There has definitely been a lot of work put into the exhaust system for noise suppression and it shows. The vast majority of the sound comes from the engine and not the exhaust. The integral hour meter/volt meter is very helpful for determining when maintenance is required. More accurate than guessing how much run time has passed. Overall I feel confident that the wgen750 is one of the top generators on the market. The 3 year warranty shows exactly how much Westinghouse believes in their product. Most manufacturers offer only a 1 year warranty. Overall I am very happy with my purchase and recommend this exact model to my friends when they are looking to purchase a generator. You simply can't go wrong with a good quality product that is offered for a fair price!

This generator appears to be solidly built and was easy to set-up right out of the box. The user manual is very well written and simple to follow. With the wheels in place and the handle extended it is easy to move around, which is great because it is quite heavy. I have had no problems starting the generator and running electrical equipment from it. I'm looking forward to our next power outage so I can put it through its paces! The only problem I have had is extremely trivial - the supplied funnel for adding oil isn't long enough to use.

We bought this generator after our first year living in the country. We were without power for 3 days that winter after a horrible ice storm and decided we won't risk that again out here. This has given us peace of mind and will power our country home. We live the remote start feature.

This is a gift from my children who knew I had problems pulling the cord on my old generator. This will be so much easier with the push button start and it even has a remote. I will now be able to run my furnace instead of just one refrigerator. I gives me a wonderful peace of mind.

Everything went together quickly and easily, and it started up with no problems. The battery came charged, and the electric start works great. I was surprised to find a remote starter included with this unit, which will be a huge benefit on particularly cold days when we need this generator.

I'm not anywhere near 50%, so I expect to get about 20 hours or more out of it when the time comes to run it that long. Also, you cannot go wrong with Westinghouse.

I just bought this and am really impressed with it in every way. From the push-button start (Wow, that's nice!) to the solid build, simple assembly process, to the clear instruction manual, this generator is a winner. It's the kind of thing I hope not to need (I'll use it as a backup generator for our home in case of power outages), but if I do, I'm sure it'll be ready to go.
