I bought this during a power outage. It worked really well to power my appliances and keep food for spoiling. The battery with quick connects (to keep unplugged when not in use to preserve battery. It also comes with a battery charger for when not in use to keep battery charged) and easy assembly of the unit are nice features. Came with oil, a funnel and tools to assemble.

I bought this generator for two purposes, one to provide power for me as I construct my cabin. And secondly it will be used to provide power to my cabin when it is completed. I also bought an optional cable that will allow me to connect the generator to feed the whole cabin. I especially like the electrical start button, it allows me to start the generator with the push of a button, no need to pull the cord.

I purchased this generator for emergency power post storms. Right out of the box, I knew I made the right choice. Simply put the wheels and front legs on, fill it with oil, attach the battery cables, fill it with gas and just like that, power when needed. The remote start is just another added feature that allows me to start and stop the generator from within the house.

Upgraded from a 5500 watt (Powermate manual start) that wasn't able to keep up with our residential emergency power needs. The quality difference of this Westinghouse is impressive. Clearly a superior product in every way! Very happy with this choice!

I bought this generator when we lost power for three days.I had a older generator that I got fed up with trying to get the darn thing to start.im 62 years old and I was so happy that after I put oil and gas in the new unit I pushed the electric start button and it started in 2 seconds.The 7500 running watts was enough to run the whole house including the well pump.i would recommended this unit to anyone.

Westinghouse definitely put a lot of thought into the design of this generator. The ports are clearly mark, the unit moves and stores easily and is very compact compared to my last generator. I would highly recommend this unit to anyone looking to get a home generator.

This unit is powerful enough to power my entire house. I have a 3,000 sq.ft. house. Built in 2012 with all the bells and whistles. There is one exception. I cannot run my 4 ton central AC Unit. It requires a 50 AMP service. This unit is limited to 30 AMPS service. The unit was in perfect condition upon arrival. Checked and inspected the unit for flaws. Found none. Added 10W30 oil according to specifications using the oil and funnel that was provided with the unit. Hooked up both the positive and negative battery cables. They were very easy to get to. Filled the fuel tank and noted the fuel gauge was accurate. Turned the fuel valve on. This unit has an automatic choke. No choking needed. Installed the wheel kit. (Very easy). One push of the starter button was all it needed. Started the first time. Ran very smooth. Very little to no vibration. The noise it produced was no worse than any other make or model. Actually, it was not as noisy as most units I have had experience with. Did a lot of research before deciding on purchasing this unit. The reviews I read were very high regarding satisfaction, dependability, quality, and serviceability.

I purchased this generator for a single family home use and did comparisons to Honda on Consumer Reports finding this generator rated equal to the Honda unit. This unit has great features, a large tank for long run time and plenty of power for the average singles family home.

I fired her up for her initial test run. She started right up without any hesitation. I ran her for about 2 hours. It performed VERY well. The key fob is a neat accessory. Hopefully, we won't need it this hurricane season, but we are definitely prepared

I bought this unit 18 months ago ahead of approaching hurricane. I didn't need it as things turned out so I kept it boxed up. Recently we had two tornados touch down nearby and we were without power for 3 days but I wasn't concerned after starting up this Bad Boy, it worked perfectly! So happy I spent the money when I did and purchased this product.
