I just got my WGen 7500 after reading and studying consumer reviews on 4 different sites. The WGen7500 was rated with more reviews and additionally with higher reviews than any other generator! I was initially looking for different brands, but, the Westinghouse really caught my eye and loved the features and reviews so I opted for the WGen7500. The set-up was amazingly easy, directions very clear, the packaging was great with one of the best labeled and informative boxes I've seen. Very classy presentation.... and it started immediately with no issues! I'd buy it again in a heartbeat if I wanted another generator. Highly recommended!

I have lived in South Florida since 1987 and have been without power after several Hurricanes. I have owned 4 Generators since I moved here and when Irma hit us in September, 2016, my Yahama Generator gave out on me. I must have pulled the starter cord over 100 times and in the end, I hurt my back. I didn't know that Electric Start Generators existed and when I found the Westinghouse WGen7500 I bought it. What A Great Decision That Was. It is an amazing Generator, at an affordable price, and is so easy to set up and use. I am hoping I don't ever have to use it, but if I do, I am sure it will be the best Generator I have ever owned.

Purchased machine over 1 year ago, not even 1 hour on it. Electric start capabilities failed less than 1 month old. Dealer too far, replaced Starter Button, NG, Replaced Controller, NG. Called to ask a simple question while panel open. Impossible. Rude Operator. Over a week to get Tech call back. Since it has taken over 1 year to get this far in exasperation, I feel a New replacement is warranted. Replacing panel parts piecemeal is not a proper support approach, To have the Repair Service pick it up, and deliver it with a loaner might be acceptable. What good is a Generator not being able to be used. I'm a Senior Citizen, and Electric start is a nice option when working.

Just received and tried out the 7500 yesterday. We had an auxiliary switch installed to bring power into the house. The first words my electrician said was, "Westinghouse is a good brand." The wheels and feet were easy to install. All parts were present. Used the remote to start it, and it fired up without hesitation. It is quieter than some other brands I have seen, even though the other units were smaller. When we switched the house to generator power, you couldn't tell the difference from regular power. One pleasant surprise-when the draw of generator power decreases, it runs quieter. Hopefully we won't need to use it often, but I feel pretty good about my 7500. It's even easy to maneuver using the built in handle.

something is wrong. It runs refrigerator, freezer, well pump on 240 volts, computers, sewing machines and lights. But the furnace does not run right. It will be okay for 2 or 3 hours and then the fan will keep trying to start for a bit and then it will just click. Wait a couple hours and it will start and run 2 or 3 hours again. This is the first time I've used it.

Bought this after my power was out for 24 hours. Easy to use and saved everything in my fridge! Only had to fill up 1-2 times a day. Ran like 8-12 hours at a time depending on electrical use in the hours. Used for 4 days and it didn't have any issues.

Quality made product! Just received this generator today, unboxed and prepped to run for the first time. It started up perfectly, much quieter than I anticipated, and ran smooth as silk! The electric and remote start is such a handy addition. At a hefty 250 lbs., I was surprised how easily I was able to move it around with its super-study handle and large wheels. Can't wait to hook it up to the house tomorrow to test its power. Love it!

I bought this generator after the remnants of a recent hurricane came through my area. I love the push button and remote start features. Much easier than having to pull a rope to start it! It is capable of powering everything I need when the power goes out at home. Saves me a lot in groceries that I otherwise would have lost due to no electricity.

I just bought this last night but assembled it took a couple mins, put in the oil only put a gallon of gas in just wanted to test it. Started right up plugged in a few things and works great. Runs pretty quiet which is nice. I have a older generator I bought years ago but decided to upgrade to this model. Big storm coming in this weekend so hopefully won't need it but better to be prepared.
