The one change I would like is a short connector with the muffler so I could add a long pipe extension so I could keep the generator in the garage and extend the exhaust through the door to the outside.

I purchased this as a home backup in case of a hurricane or storm that causes power outage. I did my research and even considered a whole home backup. This generator was far and away the best option for me. Plenty of power for window AC units, refrigerator, and much more. Very happy with my purchase.

This a fantastic generator. The packing of the generator was perfect and arrived is perfect condition. This generator includes everything you need to get setup except the fuel. They include all the tools needed for the minimal assembly (wheels and foot pegs). They even include the required 1 quart of oil. Assembly required about 10 minutes to connect the wheels (no tools needed) and bolt on the foot pegs (4 bolts) and they included the wrench for this. They have also included an angled funnel to pour in the included engine oil. After I added fuel, connected the quick connect battery plug and turned on the fuel feed the generator started right up with a press of the button on the included remote. They have also included a battery tender to keep the starter battery charged when the generator is stored. I also tried the pull start and it was very easy to pull and the generator started on the first pull. This generator is also extremely quiet for the amount of power it puts out. I would say its not much louder than the two small 2200 watt Red branded models that I am replacing with this generator. I would highly recommend this generator as a backup power source for your home, farm, RV or anything else you might need backup power for.

Have owned several generators over the past 30 years. This one is better built with more convenient control layout than any of the others. With the remote start I can sit in the family room to start it without making sure that I'm dressed for the weather.

Came in, unpacked, had it running in under 15 minutes. Not a problem in that process. Only flaw I found was instructions say to connect the negative battery post to ground, but it turns out the positive battery post was also disconnected. Only flaw. I wired it myself, using an interlock for my square-D load center. Also bought a panel with two watt meters for the two power legs so that I could see what we were connecting. Easily runs two furnaces for heating, plenty of lights, and outlets for network, AT&T u-verse, 3 TVs and our side-by-side refrigerator freezer. And can also use 1 or 2 stove top elements if needed. Glad to say these 24 hour power outages will no longer cause us headaches. Highly recommend this thing, particularly when comparing prices vs functionality.

The generator is great but I need a cover badly. I think it is really sh------. That this company charges so much for this item but short changes by not providing a cover. This item should be in the crate with the generator as part of the purchase. Everyone needs this item. The company is sh-------. on the public by not offering this as part of the purchase.

The fuel economy is excellent. I really like the key fob remote start and outlet options of the generator. I testws via the 30amp to 30amp plug for home support and found a full load lasts almost 8 hours. Outstanding IMO!! I did take away 1 star for shipping. The generator arrived with a bent cross bar cross at the top. The dent did NOT impact the generator but I chose to accept shipping since these are fairly hard to come by in Texas due to recent snow storms.

I have searched this generator for about three weeks. Watched a few videos, And read a bunch of reviews. The best feature is the remote start. I absolutely love it. Comes in handy when it's cold outside. Another feature is electric start quick disconnect, awesome design. When you want to use this generator as a back up for your house, the generator has to be set up for a floating neutral. Westinghouse tells you how to Switch it over to a floating neutral in the owners manual. That's what really sold me to buy this Generator. Another great Feature is the parts list. You don't see that too often. I could go on and on about great features. Thank you, Westinghouse. Which, by the way, is a company that has been around longer than me and I'm 67 years old. I bought WGen7500 11 days ago. I am so pleased that the machine was up and running today at the first try. It's so user friendly and easy to operate. The most worrisome in my house is the sump pump in my basement if there were no electricity. This generator easily started my sump pump. I strongly recommend this product to my friends.
