I bought this to power my home when the power fails. Set up was easy, has enough power to power my entire house. 4 stars because there where some scratches and scuffs and acted a little funny starting but started everytime. The test of time will tell. It seems well built, so im sure it will be a great generator.

Came packaged very well, putting wheels on a piece of cake easy, only thing that was a puzzler, was initial hook up. In the manual it talks about hooking up the battery cables to the battery, when I looked at mine, they are already on and tight. So I figured I was good to go. I was trying to get it going after dark in the cold, and looking at the side it looked like everything was connected. Could not get it to turn over. Was able to start with rope pull, but could not get the button to kick it over. Just left it came out during daylight and looked closer. Look at photo Gen 1, it looks like everything is good. Gen 2 actually shows the battery plug was not hooked up, which is reasonable for shipping...once I plugged in, it fired up perfect. The over all look of the machine is excellent. I upgraded from a 6500 constant to this 7500 constant. I will come back later and up date.

Received our WGen7500 literally the day before a huge ice storm hit. It took down trees and powerlines everywhere leaving us without power for 2 weeks. But this generator kept us comfortable. We were able to use the microwave, have light, keep our phones charged while watching old dvds on the TV, and it kept our food freshly frozen and refrigerated. Highly recommend!

Gift from our son. Bought for our house for emergencies. We haven't had to use it for that, but our other son is a welder and used our generator all day for welding repairs and said it held up as well, if not better than the generators they are using on the job site.

Bought August 2020, received September 2020, unpacked, put it to work within the hr...and has functioned as needed, we don't mind the genset sound, placed away from our work and living space in an open top breathable enclosure , pretty much awesome...great replacement to a crashed truck but useable old dodge cummins truck engine that we used as a emergency power source. This Westinghouse will be a primary source and cummins as a secondary....worth the wait.

Just received my 7500 watt unit and the set up out the box was quite easy. The oil capacity is 1.1 liter, so go slow and fill using the entire bottle that's included. It started easily the first time and I'm happy to have it before the next big storm. Just be sure to order the right size (length & gauge) connecting cable, as this is not included. The generator is a good size and easily movable with the large wheels and built in handle.

I originally had a new manual start generator that i sold because i didnt have the strength to start it with the pull cord. I am so happy with this westinghouse electric start generator. It is perfect for a lady to start. It is fairly quiet for a generator and i am very pleased with my purchase.

Bought this and then a few weeks later a snow storm struck and we lost power for four days. Ran great, never stopped or struggled. The only issue I saw is the gas gauge is off, it only registered half full when it was actually completely full. Oh well, on a plus it did burn very little fuel compared to my old generator and the remote start is awesome.

I bought this generator to power parts of my home when there is a power outage. It's ready to go when that time comes. Every thing about this generator is top notch! It's a breeze to set up. The Manual covers everything you need to know. Runs Beautifully. For the size, I'm surprised how quiet it is. I start it up just to plug thing into it…. Fantastic!!

Within an hour, I had it out of the box, assembled, and running. The electric start is a feature I didn't have on my previous generator and it's great. It is pretty quiet for a generator this large. Haven't powered the house yet, but I imagine it will handle any load I can apply.
