Sleeping on it has been wonderful! You can feel it keeping things cool and it does add some cushion to the bed. I sleep very hot even on the coldest nights, and this mattress pad helped to keep me cooler than I was without a pad. It is extremely soft and provided a layer of cushion under my sheet. My husband is a human furnace, so this Twin size was the perfect fit to add to his side of our (King size) bed. He says that he can definitely feel the cooling effect through the sheets and he slept better using it, which I believe, as the pad is always cool to the touch and has a similar material/feel to the cooling pillows you can get. The only downside to this mattress pad is that it's very thin. It's not going to give you any extra support or comfort, and I can see it easily bunching up if you toss and turn a lot. BUT if an affordable option for sleeping cool is what you want, this is it!

The packaging was practical with a reusable plastic bag to store the pad in when not using. I love that the elastic sides are large enough to fit over her entire mattress and never tries to come up on the corners. She says it keeps her really cool at night and it’s very cool to the touch. The only con about it is that it’s very silky so her comforter slides off the bed very easily if she tries to lay directly on the pad without a fitted sheet over it however the duvet cover is also a silky material so that could possible be avoided with a different type of bedding. I’ve decided to purchase one for my husband and myself as well. We both sweat and get so hot at night.
