I would just suffer cause I couldn't afford to be drowsy all the time. Then I tried flonase and its been a life saver! My allergies have improved almost immediately! I can breathe again! No more sneezing! I'm not afraid of being around pets, dust, pollen anymore! Most importantly no drowsiness.

Flonase worked well for me during several allergy seasons. However this season during use I suddenly stopped smelling, blamed it on the allergies at first, then realized I couldn't even smell candles in a store which progressed to the bad taste mentioned in the side effects. I have not used Flonase now for two weeks and the bad taste has worsened. If you suddenly can't smell anything, stop using! For me the bad taste came after this but I initially blamed it on the allergy problem.

I went to a sleep doctor some years ago....after the sleep test he told me more than anything my not sleeping well was my sinuses. He gave me samples of Flonase...I used it as he told me to. Then got a prescription filled for it...now you can buy over the counter)...anyway...for the first time in my life...and I was 40 then, I could breath, was not sick all the time, could work and easy wasting my life sick in bed. Unlike other allergy medicines that claim to be non-drowsy but actually zonk you out, Flonase has 0 side effects! Use as directed for at least a week if your allergies are bad. You can start to use it less once you see improvement. I stopped taking Claritin and other OTC pills since they have cleared up so well. Since this is a intranasal steroid, use when needed and supplement with a pure all natural saline mist/liquid. It will soothe your passages in break times. This is a must have for your medicine cabinet if you suffer from allergies!

Like many, I’m allergic to some grass pollen, and spring can go from beautiful to terrible once the pollen is everywhere. Flonase is the only allergy medicine that has worked for me with seasonal environmental allergies, and when I forget a day, it’s a bad day. The bottle is slim and easy to use, and I usually just do one spray per nostril daily after the initial two-sprays week to get my body adjusted.
