I've been stuffed up on and off for a couple of months and then it dawned on me that two years previous, I had the same trouble and my doc prescribed me Flonase. I remembered that I could also buy over the counter, so I rushed up to the store and bought a 60 day supply. Within a couple of days of two shots to each nostril per day, I was able to breath again! Before, I was constantly sneezing and dealing with a stuffy nose, especially during spring. Now, I can actually breathe through my nose again!t The spray is easy to use, though it took me a couple of days to get used to the sensation. I use it once in the morning, and it seems to keep my symptoms at bay all day. No more carrying tissues everywhere I go! The only downside is a slight dryness in my nose, but it's a small price to pay for the relief I'm getting. I had a sinus operation and my doctor put me on Flonase and a daily allergy pill. Before this I was on antibioctics all the time, missing work and feeling awful. It's been almost been two years and I (knock on wood) have not had a sinus infection yet.

It says you have to use within a couple of weeks so this would be better for someone with moderate allergies…otherwise not a good return on investment

I started using Flonase at least two weeks before my symptoms started as per my doctor's recommendation. Right now we are in tree allergy season and I still am getting an itchy nose and sneezing. My symptoms aren't as bad but still there and we haven't even gotten into grass season yet which is by far my worst allergy. I was hoping for complete relief and it just doesn't quite cut it for me.
