Assembly of the product was not as simple as the instructions or previous reviews indicated. I assume my particular unit had an issue, as I have never had trouble with assembling units prior. I called the customer service number provided in the packaging, and all they said was to follow the instructions and watch the you-tube videos for support. I would preferred to have exchanged my unit for another unit, but the Hudson is sold out everywhere around me and selling for too much through other sites.

We would not recommend purchasing this item! Even though it looks and functions OK when completed, the instructions are not detailed enough and some of the pieces would not fit together properly without actually cutting the plastic with a box cutter. It took us a whole afternoon to finish; my wife wanted to give up and return it but I insisted to continue and even added my own additional screws to secure the assembly

This is a sturdy , heavy, bench box. Many reviews said printed directions were unclear and they were right, the directions are not great, but if you use the online directions and the printed directions together it is easier. Go slow, pay close attention to every detail. Enlarge the online pictures in some cases were it is really unclear. Make sure your screwdriver has a long shaft for some areas, which they don't tell you. Put this together near the area where you'll be using it. This is pretty heavy. We placed it next to our shed where we need to sit sometimes so it's nice to have something weather resistant and the storage is a plus. You'll be happy with this as long as you take your time to put it together.

I was looking for a patio storage bench that had a back to it and came across this one online at Sam’s. The price was right & the measurements were perfect to fit where I wanted it on my screen patio. My husband put it together in about 30-45 minutes with no problems. The quality of the bench is great & it has ample storage for our needs. Even though it sits comfortably, I still purchased a cushion it. I’m definitely recommend this storage bench.

The quality is good. The instructions not very good. Take your time,read thru instructions completely before you start. Take a marker and outline all the part numbers,so you don’t have to keep searching for them ,hard to find. Lay them out in order installation.get a helper. Enjoy your chair/storage

Sam's sent me a returned item. Missing parts, broken pieces especially the backrest. It's already faded.

Parts were not cut properly so they didn't fit together. It was difficult to assemble and at some point we gave up and returned it.

Poor quality. Doesn’t close properly Rebuilt twice in case it was something we did. Plastics just don’t fit well

Box was damaged, when putti g together nothing match the slots, just so happen had a handyman to help rig it together
