An office chair is highly personal, and not all chairs fit all people. My experience with this chair was not particularly good, as I found the seat too shallow (front to back), with the edge several inches from the crease in my knees. As another reviewer noted, I also had a tendency to slide forward as the seat seemed to tilt downwward somewhat. Because of the shallow seat, the lumbar 'protrusion' pushed me that much more toward the front. I found it very difficult to push the back backward. The spring or whatever mechanism it is that keeps it upright did not allow for any gentle rock back. I like a chair that tilts backward some when I lean back in it. Another fact: once assembled, it is nearly impossible to get the chair through a standard household doorway. We had to turn the chair on its side to wriggle it through. I will be returning it on my next trip to Sam's Club.

Lasted about a year before falling apart. I wasn't particularly rough with this chair but the arms and base just kept loosening to the point of breaking. The uphostery ripped from even the lightest of drags. Very unfortunate. I don't feel comfortable returning something to Sam's that I have owned for an entire year so I guess I just have to deal with it.

This chair is wonderful!! It's very comfortable. The lumbar support hits perfectly. The wheels glide so smooth even on a tile floor. It is very well made. It was very easy to put together. The overall look of the chair is beautiful. I'm very glad I purchased this chair.

I look at dimensions as my husband is 6'5" /270. He works from home, so seat depth and height are important. The dimensions on line are not the dimensions on the box. Unfortunately, I didn't see that before opening and assembly. My husband noticed right away. I called Sam's, and they could not give me an answer. Took it back talked to the manager and she said she'd look into it. So it's false advertisement.
