The A2500 was an excellent purchase. I have used a Vitamix that I purchased about 20 years ago used almost every day after purchase. It was very basic and an excellent product. I was nervous about buying a new one and opted for the A2500 so I could try out a few new features and because it gives me optional add-ons. It is very easy to use now that I know where the turn-on button on the side is located, and it works perfectly. It is easier to use than my original Vitamix and it is faster. I can recommend it wholeheartedly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had my Vitamix A2500 for around two months now and have used it many times. I've made lots of smoothies, some sauces, tried my hand at peanut butter, and have used it in pureeing. I can say that I am very happy with how it performs. It makes the smoothies smooth and it does a great job of grinding up cashews in a soup base. The only thing I've ever had an issue with is doing ice cream or pureeing lentils. The contents gets real thick and it's hard to keep it moving. I've had it give me an error message after that but I just let it cool down and it's seemed to have worked fine ever since. I bought it mostly to use in my new eating of Nutritarian eating. It is working very well compared to my old Oster brand mixer. That one didn't chop up the spinach as smooth or even the cashews in a soup base. I am very pleased with my purchase and look forward to many years of use from it!

Pros: It's by far the best way to eat vegetables as a meal. For me, it will make a positive difference in my general health. It also makes great smoothies. Cons: It's expensive! To me, the pre-programmed settings are "near" unnecessary because the recipes are really simple. Finaly, it is so noisy that I will not make early smoothies in respect to my neighbors.

I love it! It’s quiet and powerful! 4 instead of 5 stars because I don’t like the single serve blending cup attachments I bought to go along with it. They have a hard time finding the sensor and are not as powerful. I recommend getting the 48oz bowl as another option instead of the single serves.

I only have one complaint about my vitamix & that is it is so extremely loud!! My 2 year old is terrified of it & my daughter has to wear headphones. Other than that, it couldn’t be better!! It makes the smoothest smoothies! And the steaming hot soups blows my mind! Delicious, fast, healthy & easy cleanup! As a busy mom, this thing is a lifesaver!

We have had our Vitamix for a month, and it is the best tool in my kitchen. We are vegan eaters, so having the ability to mix and blend veggies to make sauces, soups, nut milks, smoothies, and juices is really important for our diet. Last night, I used our Vitamix to make cashew milk and spinach soup. The only 'recommendation' that I have is do not use the 'soup' setting on the device unless you need a really airy soup. The soup setting makes the soups frothy which isn't always what you want in a soup. Other than that, I highly recommend this kitchen device!

I think that I have used this everyday since I was lucky enough to receive as a gift. It was a splurge that I was saving for so even more wonderful that I got for Christmas. So far I love it! It is a must kitchen item and has made cooking paleo/vegan recipes so much easier.

I’m so glad we got our Vitamix. It’s super powerful, and that makes such a difference. Our smoothies are really creamy now. Our old blender left lots of seeds and small chunks, and the Vitamix never does, just does a perfect job. We got the small bowl attachments also, and those have been nice to make dressings for our salads. I appreciate the quality and easy cleanup!

Best blender I ever had. We use it every day. So far I've made smoothies, soup, cashew milk, tomato sauce. The soup we made was from the provided recipe book, and we didn't like it BUT, like they said, it was HOT went it finished to blend, not lukewarm, hot. The spout of the plastic container is a little too large to my liking, but that's not worth losing points over this. I would have given it a 5 but I haven't experienced their customer service yet, thankfully, and to me customer support makes a huge difference. I've also been told that there's nothing perfect in life, that there's always room for improvement, so for all this, I give it a 4, but a strong one.

I've had my Vitamin for a month now and I am so glad I made the investment to purchase this product! I use it almost every day, and sometimes twice a day. My fiancé and I use it for smoothies and sauces; as it gets into the colder months I look forward to trying soups. I appreciate the preprogrammed functions as that is what I use most. Wold definitely recommend!
