I bought my Vitamix A2500 with some fear of paying too much but I forgot it quickly with the best texture and delicious mix I can do with it. I really appreciate smooth texture of everything I can put in my Vitamix. The only negative point to me is that I often need the tamper because blades end up turning without touching anything if it's too thick... Now I hope to use it for years to come. :)

I bought the Vitamix to replace our 30 year old Oster and am pleased so far. It does the job it is supposed to by turning leafy greens and hard vegies into liquid protean packed drinks to replace lunch or breakfast every day. Lost 10 lbs. and feeling good!

Super powerful! Quieter than my old target blender but still loud, which should be expected because like I said, super powerful. Also love the new style mixed with the old school toggles for start/stop and pulse. Great product! Can’t wait to surprise my mom with one ;)

they are requesting i do this review. but i have not had the machine for very long. so its a bit premature to give a accurate review. The biggest negative was the price. Its super expensive. But it is American made. If it were not, i would not have been willing to pay that much for it. i do like the features it has. if you want to make a smoothie, you turn the dial to the picture of the smoothie and press start button and it runs the machine at one speed for several seconds and then speeds up at appropriate time and when its done it stops and the results are the smoothie comes out perfect. with a ordinary blender, you'd have to adjust the speeds manually and check it until you got it where you wanted. but it does have a way to do it manually if you didn't like using their preset settings for smoothie and a couple other items, i forget right now what they are. one thing they could improve on is i am not jazzed about the plastic container. wished it was glass. also the lid has a twist off center cap, which is hard to twist off easily. its somewhat hard to pull up to add some water/juice or some thing through that opening. but overall, thats a minor issue. other thing is when its on full throttle, its kind of loud, like most blenders. possibly future models could be designed to operate more quietly.

Just to be upfront, we also own a Nutribullet and I saw some news coverage that indicated that it could potentially be unsafe and explode during use due to pressure buildup. Although we've never experienced anything to that extreme, my wife primarily used it to make baby food and she generally is holding our little one in her arms during the process. That said, safety is paramount when it comes to my loved ones and I didn't want to take any chances. I decided to by the A2500. I haven't used it all that much but my wife uses it almost daily. She loves the machine. I say machine because this thing is SERIOUS! Serious as in, I'm in awe of the quality of it. It speaks and feels professional in every manner of the word. I would only make a few recommendations for improvements: -The wife uses it everyday however, she won't use it beyond 7 because it has so much power, it literally scares her. She feels that it would be nice if the base had a locking system of some sort. She honestly feels like it may come off because of the power of the motor. -The other concern she has is that when she makes soups or purées/baby food, sometimes liquid will come out of the lid plug... again, particularly at high levels. Again, because the baby is constantly hanging on or around her, she feels like this is a safety issue. Aside from these concerns, this machine is seriously amazing. It's like a work of art in my opinion. It looks gorgeous in our kitchen!

I’ve had my machine for about two months and have used it daily for morning smoothies. It works great with frozen berries as well as vegetables to make a tasty creamy smoothie for the morning. After seeing how easy it was to blend smoothies my kids have even gotten on the bandwagon a few days a week!

I bought my Vitamix as a Christmas present to myself and it is well worth the cost. The unbelievable results of blending all the fruits (with seeds and skin), the nuts, veggies, etc into a silky, smooth, delicious drink, smoothie, or hot soup has to be experienced too believe it. What a powerhouse! The features are very user-friendly and non-cumbersome. The digital timer and auto shut-off that controls speed and time length of smoothies, ice cream, and soups takes all the guesswork out and leaves you with perfect results. There is still a manual speed dial that gives you the option to control what you’re making. It also is a self cleaner so you don’t have to touch the blade. The Vitamix A2500 is a beautiful machine that is build to last. That’s why it has a 10 year warranty. Great investment, replaces so many appliances in your kitchen. Thank you.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had my Vitamix A2500 for around two months now and have used it many times. I've made lots of smoothies, some sauces, tried my hand at peanut butter, and have used it in pureeing. I can say that I am very happy with how it performs. It makes the smoothies smooth and it does a great job of grinding up cashews in a soup base. The only thing I've ever had an issue with is doing ice cream or pureeing lentils. The contents gets real thick and it's hard to keep it moving. I've had it give me an error message after that but I just let it cool down and it's seemed to have worked fine ever since. I bought it mostly to use in my new eating of Nutritarian eating. It is working very well compared to my old Oster brand mixer. That one didn't chop up the spinach as smooth or even the cashews in a soup base. I am very pleased with my purchase and look forward to many years of use from it!

Bought my Vitamix machine a couple months ago and love how it works and how versatile it is in a lot of things from making smoothies, soups, ice treats and so many things to mention. I am still disappointed that the new smoothie cups is still not available because I was also looking forward to getting those too. Other than that, I still do love my Vitamix machine.
