It's been about a month and works wonderfully. I was skeptical before receiving this model, but not anymore! I read some reviews this is too big for one, and yes, this is a big jar so you might look into the different models to make one serving. Or you can buy a smaller jar. I hope Vitamix gives us the choice of which jar will buy. This is perfect for me and my husband, we make a larger batch of smoothies to replace our dinner. So I would totally recommend this model for a couple. And love their customer service. My first one had some issues and when I called them they helped me with the issue right away. The email was not successful, but the phone call worked beautifully. I had pro 750 and switched to this to use other size cups and different attachments. I've not tried those attachments yet, hope they work well. Some reviews mentioned the switch, but honestly, they are pretty good. When you hold it down, you feel the click. I didn't have to hold it longer to make it work as someone says. If you understand how the switch work, you'll get used to it and I don't have a problem with it. The lid is a little tricky. You need to close a little precisely, otherwise, it won't close it. I hope Vitamix can update this design. The noise is about the same as pro 750. I didn't measure exactly, but this is Vitamix so I expected big noise. I hope this lasts longer than 10 years like the old version of Vitamix.

I am so excited that I had two friends get theirs before me, because that influenced purchase has been AMAZING!! Because of this purchase, I was able to sell FOUR other appliances for my kitchen because this does it ALL! I haven't even had it a month yet and I have used it for so much! I finally made a successful pesto because this blender is good enough! And I tried a pesto recipe from this site! Totally worth every penny!

I have been using a Legacy Series 5200 for about ten years and felt ready for an upgrade. I did a lot of research and decided on the A2500 over the A3500 because I felt as a long time user I would be more comfortable with the manual controls. I love the A2500. It is noticeably quieter than the 5200 and I think it blends a bit better overall. I did buy the additional 48oz container and I haven’t even used the larger container that comes standard yet. I’m glad that I did because I think the larger container would be way too big. I too wish that Vitamix would offer a choice of containers as the 48oz I think would be a better choice for most people. I love the preprogrammed options. I use smoothie everyday when I make my morning smoothies and it always comes out perfect without me having to do anything. I also use the smoothie program to clean it when I’m done. So far I have made smoothies and nut milks in it and am super impressed. I would definitely recommend it to someone looking to upgrade but who still wishes to have manual control.

Wow, I love this blender! Everything is built with such quality. The motor is very strong, the container has some elasticity to it so it will handle a drop without breaking. Yes, I accidentally dropped it when I was taking it out of the box on our hard travertine floors and it didn't break. I was originally looking for a food processor and when I found out that this blender worked with the new food processor being offered, I was sold. I bought the blender and the food processor attachment. Both work great and are made with a sturdy quality. I wish there were more blade options for the food processor. I also wish it could be a little quieter. It is a bit loud with everyone being home for online school and work due to Covid. I made tomato soup that heated up very nicely in the blender. Everything blends down to a perfect puree. This blender is everything I hoped it could be. I look forward to getting the blending cups that I ordered. I tried blending a small quatity (less than a cup) of ginger and green onions for a sauce and it didn't work very well. When I added more ingredients to make over a cup it worked great. So, hopefully the smaller bowls will work better for smaller quantity recipes.

I received my blender last week and I can't begin to tell you how much I love it, my entire family for that matter. We are huge smoothie fans over here and on most days that's our breakfast. I like to get a jump on this in the early morning hours and I was over the moon with how quiet it is! That's a HUGE plus in my book. Nothing say good morning like a noisy blender going for 10 minutes. Smoothies made in record time and out the door we go! And the power behind this baby is AWESOME. No more measuring cups or waiting on things to blend before adding another ingredient. I recently had fun experimenting with a new recipe using pistachios and the texture came out so smooth and even. I can't say enough, It's my new kitchen must have! I was sent this product in exchange for an honest review. All opinions above are my own.

I love Vitamix Blenders, but this new lid is terrible. The tamper has a harder time reaching the upper sides of the container with this plastic lid. I'm also not the biggest fan of the new on/off switch, I prefer actually switching it on instead of holding it down until it turns on. Might return it and switch to the legacy series instead.

I use my smoothie maker every day to make smoothies with frozen fruit and it works great. I prefer my smoothies smoother and depending on the fruit, I either use the predefined setting or use a few extra pulses to get the desired smoothness. I’ve also used for ice cream that was very creamy.

After using a Ninja blender for years and not being happy with the smoothie consistency I decided that this was the year to try a Vitamix. I went with the ascent because I wanted to make it easy on myself and wife to have a dedicated smoothie button so we could just load up the blender and go about our morning. This Ninja is no comparison to this blender. The smoothies are always silky smooth with no chunks, it even obliterates chia seeds so you don’t know your drinking them. Highly recommend this blender!!

In love with this VITAMIX. The A series is certainly an investment but it makes sense if VITAMIX is committing to this series. I have a lot more experimenting to do but so far I’ve made the smoothest smoothies I’ve ever had in my life, and the creamiest pesto. But it doesn’t just blend. I made salsa that was perfectly minced with minimal prep, and used it to make leftover turkey frittata muffins. It chopped the leftover turkey chunks AND the kale to perfect pieces with also minimal prep. I did read reviews of others struggling to get the textures right with their recipes, so my advice is to reference the VITAMIX cookbook for recipes similar to the ones you want to try to get an idea of what order to put in the infredients and whether to blend or pulse. I did have trouble with the pizza dough recipe from the book. The container moved a lot at I got an E31 error message. Thought it was broken but it’s actually a safety feature that prevents the machine from running if the container isn’t sitting just right on the pegs. Readjusting the container cleared the message and we’ve ate living happily after ever after!

Wow is all I can say! I have been a loyal Vitamix customer since the beginning. There truly is nothing else that compares to the power, sleek look, convenience, versatility & recipe enhancement! This new series is even better then I could have expected! A++ Vitamix team! Also - as a vegan I make a ton of homemade nut milks and nut butters on the daily. I can NOT imagine doing this without this machine. Seriously, I made creamy homemade hemp milk (see pictures) in 90 seconds with this A2500. THAT'S it! Life changing!
