I've had my A2500 for a couple of years now and felt it had enough bells and whistles. However, now that I've had a chance to get great use out of it I am ready to upgrade to the version that also has the self-cleaning mode. Standing in front of the A2500 for a full couple minutes to go through the cleaning cycle is a hassle b/c you can't multi-task as you have to keep track of the every 6 seconds cycle.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this blender several months ago. I am incredibly disappointed that it frequently overheats and stops working. It has overheated while blending different things, that were not difficult blending jobs.

I upgraded from my reconditioned Explorian to this A2500 and am so happy I did! Not only is this unit a beast, but it does everything I need it to, quickly, and the programs are so helpful because I'm terrible in the kitchen and this unit makes it easier. I don't think I would've ever had smoothies at home if it wasn't for my Vitamix. <3

I LOVE my Vitamix blender. I purchased it in 1995 and I have to admit I am at fault for the one problem I had early on. I blended raw liver for dog treats in it and they liver membranes restricted the shaft and I blew the dang thing up! Warrenty replacement is still going. Pretty good investment, I'd say! Tip... blend liver, celery etc in a cheap blender!

I feel proud to have my Vitamix. I am on a personal journey to better health, and to learning to love real food. My Vitamix is helping me on that road, one vegetable and fruit at a time. After year after year of buying other unnamed blenders that repeatedly disappointed, I am now on this Vitamix fix.

I have owned vitamix for about 6 years now. I just recently purchased the A2500. I love my vitamix. The only complaints I have is the A2500 doesn't do so well if you try to make nut butter and I can't connect my phone to the blender! Overall I wouldn't trade it for anything else

I had an old Ninja Bullet blender, which while it did ok for smoothies and small volume sauces and dips, wasn't really cutting it as a real blender. I'd seen Vitamix before and thought it might be worth it. I tested one out in a Sur la Table store and after getting all my questions answered I went for it. I'm so glad and I will never look back. I have the full size container plus smoothie glasses and small bowls. The small bowls were the perfect replacement for my bullet. And the smoothie glasses have just the right shape to blend everything perfectly. Plus I love that I'm not going to cut myself cleaning it!

I am a healthy eating raw vegan ,I've been wanting to own a vitamix for awhile now.Finally i decided on the g series,then was told about the new ascent line.I just ordered this machine today and am so excited.I have only heard good things about the vitamixes so i took the vitamix plunge.Several people i know own one and every loves theirs.

Hubby got me the A2500 with Food Processor attachment for Christmas and I am honestly in love. This is the most efficient and easy to use small appliance I have ever owned. I resisted for so many years due to the price - but it was worth the wait. I have used the blender at least 2 times each day since receiving it. I have yet to use the food processor but am so excited to do so and will update my review once I do!

I received the item today however it came dead on arrival. I unpacked the item, plugged it into electricity and filled up the cup with water and soup. Then I went and chose the smoothie program + hit the play button and on screen it first showed the second count as 00:50, then 00:49, then E31. I was googling what the E31 error mean and it says the motor is dead, that’s when you get this error. Few seconds later and while I’m reading online I started to smell something is burning, I was looking at the blender and smoke was coming out of it. I also have a video with the leftover of smoke coming out which I was able to capture on camera but can’t seems to have an option to upload a video in here directly, rather have to youtube first...
