The OpenRun Pro has the best battery and the worst connectivity out of all the Shokz headphones I have owned over the years. It shows connected on the phone but it keeps playing via the phone audio. have reset the headset 2-3 times and still not working properly. just got the headset on 5/18/2024. had to send it back via warranty .. Looks like I might have gotten a lemon. Also the volume keeps fluctuating on them which something I have never had with regular Open Run..

I got these to use while jogging and they are quite good. The low end sound is pretty anemic but you can actually hear bass lines. Given the physical limitations of bone induction, I think that's to be expected. I wouldn't use these to sit down and listen to high fidelity music. They are great for exercise and listening to podcasts, though. The mid- to high-range fidelity is impressive and clear. I can easily understand speech and lyrics. They are also very comfortable. Most in-ear or over-ear headphones cause discomfort after extended wear. Either from irritation or heat retention. But the open design of these eliminate that. The magnetic charging cable interface is nice. There is no clumsy dust cover you have to open to access the charging port which will eventually wear out and break off. The biggest issue I have with these is that they wrap over my ears... But I wear glasses which utilize the same real estate. For the most part they seem to get along but sometimes I have to manipulate them. My glasses are very minimalistic. I'm not sure how well these would work with glasses frames that have really thick temple arms. And these are not great for use while relaxing. The behind-the-head band sticks out a little so if you want to sit down and lean back, it will press against the chair and tend to push the phones off your head. These are primarily designed for active use. Which is primarily what I got them for so it's fine.

I've been wearing my aftershokz headphones almost Daily since Oct. 2020 Really like the way i can hear cars when riding and conversation with these on. Just have to turn down the volume :) Replaced them right away when they broke:( with the open run YAY!!!

Comfort A Battery A+ Range A+ Sound quality B Wish the fit was a bit adjustable, the multi-function button is a bit wonky, the volume button is a bit hard to find mid run, and the sound quality isn’t amazing. All and all though they are some of the best sources of music for running!

This is my second pair I went with the Minnie’s this time better fit for me Only one thing controls Are on the left now I drive with my left Hand and I’m right handed Do like not having mic on this head set Wish it had the capacity to be used as a walkie talkie so when I’m running or working with a group we could communicate together They are the best head set I have used I have been using head set for over 15 years hands down the best Jim smith

I must admit, I love the prior model with AfterShock. It worked very well in ALL my runs. I’m a bit older man at the age of 70. My runs range from 6 to 14 miles and can last from 1.5 to 3.5 hours. I run in hot and humid weather which I usually end up drenched in sweat. My AfterShock headset never failed me. So, going to this new headset I was hoping it would somehow better then the one I owned. Fortunately, I believe it is. The sounds are excellent. Currently, it’s winter time here in Nashville. TN, so I’ll have to wait a few more months to test out our hot summer days but I am hopeful. I trust all will work out just. One improvement would be to have a smaller headset.

I thought I would love this style and decided on them after I wore out the last shokz I had for 4 years. I'm so disappointed. They sound tinny and they keep disconnecting from my phone. They randomly disconnect when my phone is right beside me. My old ones never did that. A lot of money for something that isn't working.

Overall Aftershokz are a great buy! I have had several pair through the years. Each pair lasting about 2 years and I couldn't be happier. I use them for hands free at work, while I workout/run and doing random activities around the house to listen to podcast or music.

I purchased the mini size and they are perfect. I run alone and am now able to hear more in my surroundings if someone is coming up behind me. The sound quality is great but because the are not in the ear the base of the music is not the same but I’m used to that now. The only thing they do not work well for is using while on an airplane. I’ll need to bring my air pods for that but for running these are perfect!

I really enjoy my mini shokz pro. As a hearing impaired person, I wear hearing aids that are not blue tooth capable . my open run allows me to be more aware of sounds around me while enjoying great sounding music and audio books, which provides me a more safe experience. I am, however, having a problem when receiving a phone call or text, it does not come through on my open run pro! Whe I make the call, no problem! I hear clearly. Perhaps I’m not using it correctly????
