Veeeery quiet

The headphones sound loud inside (example in a store) but are pretty much useless when there is constant noise outside- on public transport, on a busy street, basically any city sounds make it impossible to hear via headphones. So unfortunately not useful for sports if you’re in a city.

Amazing for runs

So much better than airpods or bose! I’ve been using these for my runs which are about 1 hour long 3 times a week and have not had to charge them for 2 weeks so I’m impressed! They are very comfortable, don’t bounce, great sound, and I can hear the surrounding noise perfectly well for safety. Recommended these to all my friends! Would prefer volume button positions to be reversed though.

Love these headphones

This is my 5th pair of Shokz - including when they were named AfterShokz. And it’s not my fifth pair because they had issues - they are amazing. Best headphones I’ve ever had for work, working out and overall comfort and safety. Ask my husband, these headphones are on me every moment I am awake. And when I swim - I use my Shokz OpenSwim. I appreciate how the company has continued to improve the product in battery life, comfort and sound. I cannot say enough good things about these headphones. Plus, the new ability to dual connect with the OpenRun Pro is amazing.

Slight repositioning sometimes needed

Excellent charge life. Lightweight. Fit is very good, but sometimes the part that goes around the head drops down. I find myself repeatedly pulling back and up on the headset to reposition the “vibration speakers” into place closer to my ears. Because of this, I also wish the volume went just a bit louder.

Satisfied with OpenComm, picked up OpenRun Pro

This is my second headset from Shokz. In addition to the OpenRun Pro, I have the OpenComm. Both are great headsets. Of course, picked up the OpenRun Pro for music & videos. The sound quality is fantastic. I can hear full range sounds when listening to music. With open ear comfort, I can still hear other sounds & be aware of my surroundings.

Accidentally in the washer

I have accidentally put my headphones with my dirty clothes. The washer started making small noises, thinking that it was coins like usual. I pulled my clothes and finding out that I had my headphones in there the entire time. I thought that they were destroyed due to the constant banging and water. They work perfectly fine! Unfortunately I just ordered some new ones 😑 I just wasted money on new one I don't need. I'm glad that they very durable and water resistant!

OpenRun Pro

I've had the Trekz Air when the company was still called AfterShokz. Great piece of headphones and lasted me all these years. It still actually works great, but just recently started having some trouble only when making calls where I sound like I'm cutting in and out apparently. If that didn't happen, I'm almost certain I wouldn't have traded them in. I'm only a few weeks in using the OpenRun and can't say much yet, but here are my thoughts so far: Pros: 1) Light and 2) aesthetically sleeker than older model. Mild Annoyances: 1) The flexibility of the headphones causes them to flop around a bit when trying to handle them, a bit annoying when in a hurry. 2) It might be different if I got the mini size, but I feel the conduction piece moves easy so I have to adjust them often versus the Trekz Air sat right where I needed them and stayed in place. 3) Also I'm noticing the sound isn't coming through as clear as the Trekz Air did. As I said, still getting use to these so I'll give it a little more time. On a side note, after I got the OpenRun a few weeks later the new ear pieces were released... so, yeah, that wasn't annoying or anything, lol.

Fabulous concept My criticisms are

Fabulous concept My criticisms are minimal I mostly listen to music and wish the sound quality was a bit better at higher volume Hence my 4 rating Before these i would not listen to music during cycling or skiing due to safety concerns With these, i can hear ambient sounds very well while listening to music or podcasts etc Great product!

New favorite Headphones

I am absolutely loving these headphones. Nothing goes inside my ear but I get a full surround sound audio with peak quality. They sit extremely comfortably and I haven't had to touch them once while working out. I only have two minor complaints. First, if I'm near anything loud (traffic, construction, etc.) the sound is drowned out very easily and I have to turn it up to max volume to hear semi-decently. It's not a huge issue but I'd love to see it improved upon. Second, a charging case would go a long way. The battery life is really good but if it runs low while I'm out and about it'd be nice to conveniently charge my headphones on the go.

I like them. How they

I like them. How they sit sometime hurts my head. I am also concerned about having a Bluetooth on my head. Sound is great. The features are good, just hard to remember how many clicks, etc. A learning curve, I guess. I would buy them again because of the sound. It also seems to cancel background noise better and differently than my other bluetooth.
