Great deck box.

Just bought two of these.  Simple, well illustrated assembly instructions taking about 25 minutes to assemble. Seems to be well constructed and sturdy.  Right now I give 5 stars and recommend it. I'll wait about 6 months and re-visit for final review.

This is a large deck box at a great price.  Assembly is pretty easy.  Just placed an order for another one.

This is an outstanding value. It is extremely large. Can also be used as a seat. Unfortunately mine did not come with instructions and if you aren't handly it may take a fee minutes.

Purchased last week. Box is missing all small parts, and the hinges for the lid. Very disappointed. Contacting the manufacturer and we will see how long it takes them to make it right. Will update with more info as I have it. Stay tuned.

Missing all the small parts!

Deck box purchased to store bags of fertilizer and soil amendments for gardening. They had previously been stored near my side door because that kept them out of direct sunlight and rain. But definitely not a good look for anyone visiting. 

Assembly took 45 minutes. I used an impact driver for the almost 60 screws. I tried a regular screwdriver too, but found that it slipped out of the Phillips head too easily. The impact driver was both faster and adidn't strip the screw heads.

The screws tapped threads into plastic bosses molded into the box panels. The matching holes in the metal parts were oversize so you could position them directly over the plastic bosses. No fighting poorly toleranced screw holes--everything just fit perfectly.

You need two people at the end, when you fasten the hinges on the lid to the box. My assistant held the lid and I put three screws on each hinge in less than a minute per side. You may also want an assistant when moving the fully assembled box into its final location.
