[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i was a loyal customer to a brand that kept adding layers, therfore, i thought that obviously meant more effective. i really never thought about why my toilet seemed to flush more slowly and why i sometimes needed to utilize a plunger to keep it from overflowing...... thanks to this sample i found that less layers of a higher quality product really gave me superior results. thanks for waking me up

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like that this TP is very thick, but it is a bit too tough. I wish it were softer. If it were a little softer, I would have given it a 5 star review. We use Charmin Ultra Soft and LOVE it! For tough jobs, Charmin Ultra Strong is great, though.

I have purchased the ultra strong mega rolls for many years. I am so disappointed in the quantity and quality of the rolls now. Definitely not what they used to be. The rolls are much smaller, I don't know why you call it a "mega" roll anymore, and it certainly isn't ultra strong anymore. My most recent purchase was the 18 roll mega/ultra strong and I think you need to change your description of this product. In my opinion it is no longer "woven like a washcloth" and you can no longer use less because it shreds apart. I thought maybe I got a mislabeled package. Even the size of the squares are smaller. Instead of trying to deceive us with all of your different sizes of packaging why don't you just stick to one size and if you are going to call it ultra strong make sure that is what you are giving us.
It looks like I am going to have to start looking for a different brand that lives up to its name.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] OK, 3 things I need out of toilet paper, 1. a large roll for the money, 2. a roll that feels comfy and doesn't hurt, 3. a roll that doesn't tear through when using it Now, I am not necessarily an aggressive wiper, but this TP is as thick as I have ever used... good and bad, you really only need 2 or 3 sheets, but out of habit, 5+ is rolled off, so the roll goes faster than usual. Even if you use 2-3 sheets, you go through it at the same rate as a normal roll... so #1 isn't useful at all, plus the price isn't the best. for #3, this is a rockstar, but for #2... well, it's not really all that comfy to use, it is slightly abrasive actually, I've used more comfy 1 ply, and definitely have used better 2 ply (or use on a regular basis that is) I'd spend my money elsewhere given the choice, unless of course you are that "aggressive wiper" i described above, then this TP is for you

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Although the product is nice and soft, I will not be buying it anytime soon. I have used many different toilet tissues and I certainly have a preferred brand, which isn't charmin. I was wondering if trying this product would change my mind....regretfully it didn't. The tissue itself was nice and soft but it barely lasted long enough to give it 3 stars, let alone anything higher. There is a find balance between softness and the roll lasting, needless to say this product did not strike the correct balance. I much prefer Scott extra soft over this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a huge fan of the Charmin Ultra Strong!! You don't have to use as much as you do traditional toilet paper & its still soft on your bum. I would definitely recommend this toilet paper to anyone! I personally cannot see myself buying any other toilet paper from here on out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] we are a brand specific household for toilet paper. we love Scott soft. we all tried the Charmin ultra strong and it was very soft and thick but did not last long enough. i felt like there was not enough on the roll. we all loved how it felt and would consider using it if there was more to a roll so we get more for our money.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Reviewing toilet paper seems somewhat unusual, as it is not really something most of us talk about, or at least a product for which we would normally express any real passion. When I was offered the opportunity to try Charmin Ultra Strong by BzzAgent I wasn't quite sure how this would turn out or that I would be able to review this with much enthusiasm. I have rarely used Charmin in the past, mainly because my perception (I suspect shared by many others) is that its premium price is just not worth something that we simply dispose of. But, that does not mean that just any toilet paper will do - most of us do have some standards. It is highly irritating (physically and emotionally) to use TP that is either too thin, breaks apart, or harsh. Up until recently I have found a brand that seems to address these concerns and at a reasonable price point. I was content enough that Charmin was not a seriously consideration for me. Trying Charmin again, and perhaps this time with more attention, has changed my view. There is a difference. While my most recent preferred brand was adequate, Charmin Ultra Strong does live up to its claims. It is stronger and does have greater absorbency, all while being soft to one's tush. And, even though it does appear to cost a little more, I find that I don't need as much. Besides, in reality the minimal extra expense is well worth the comfort. When I started this trial I had no idea that I would be a convert, but the result is that I was pleasantly surprised and ready to make this my go-to brand.
