I've used Charmin MANY times at other houses in past years... it ALWAYS is weak and tears and shreds, and I don't like using toilet paper that lets my fingers go through it. I prefer Northern or Marina or MD brands.. they don't tear and have nice texture. Charmin IS soft (and the bears are cute), but it doesn't hold up.

I do feel like I am using less without feeling like I have super thick wad of TP. I have used quite a few TP from Scott to Cottonelle to other versions of Charmin, and I have to say the Ultra Strong is a top contender.

It's strength was the thing that most impressed me. The combination of comfort , strength, and efficiency( a little bit goes a long way) added up to a good experience. After going through many different brands, I have finally found the one. Charmin Ultra Strong is a good, durable yet soft toilet tissue. It does not leave you feeling unclean or fall apart. I like that it doesn't fall apart when using it. That is a major positive on my opinion. I have recmended this brand to others as well as let then know I got some from bzzagent. Great product!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received my 4 rolls of Charmin Ultra Strong. It is a fantastic brand and works great! Normally, we use the store brand of toilet tissue because the cost is much cheaper. I will say the difference in the Charmin Ultra Strong is just that. It is Ultra Strong. It stands up to alot more than the standard tissue that we've recently used. The softness of the tissue leaves alot to be desired. Believe it or not, the lower priced tissue is quite a bit softer than this particular Charmin. If you are looking for a tissue that can stand up to alot and not too worried about the softness, then this is the tissue for you! However, if you like soft tissue, I would not recommend this particular style. I've used other Charmin tissue that is much softer, albeit, not nearly as strong. We will probably continue to buy the cheaper tissue because the strength of the tissue is not a big concern for my household.
