[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Charmin Ultra Strong is the strongest toilet paper I have ever encountered. It does not rip easily even when wet. It is very thick and the texture makes it extra absorbent. I like that I can use a lot less to clean up in the bathroom which saves me from having to change the toilet paper roll as often. I recommend this toilet paper to everyone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was skeptical that this would be great...I mean I knew it was Charmain and would be good, but many toilet papers are good. This has the right thickness, lack of any flakyness and most impressive is strong. It remains soft, but is firm and won't break apart. This really is better than other toilet papers and I will be using it in the future.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This toilet paper is nice and soft without falling apart. It still has enough strength that it doesn't rip through or fall apart. My toddler likes to play with it and get it wet and it didn't make a mess because it was strong. I would definitely be buying this again. Some toilet papers have strength but they are rough and some are soft but fall apart. Charmin has a perfect balance of both.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My review rating is strictly based on the quality of the paper, I'll expand on this particular package more a little later. It's strong enough to use only 2 squares in a pinch, while 3 squares is as strong and comfortable as 4 or 5 of any other quality brand. But even more importantly it's low linting unlike most other "soft" toilet papers. I am on public sewers so I don't worry at all about the extra bulk of the tissues, if you're on septic these are rated as safe, but of course safe and ideal may be two different things... I will say you can use less than other thinner brands so it should be a wash. As for the Double (2x) Roll vs Regular (1x), vs Big Roll (1.5x) vs Mega Roll (4x)... I'm split between this and the Mega roll as the best size to get. On one hand I hate changing rolls out all the time (which is why I don't buy the smaller sizes), but the Mega roll makes it too easy to take more paper than you need when you first put the roll on. So this is probably the best compromise but I'd like to see a 2.5x or 3x size roll. So for the length of the roll I would rate this pack as 4 and a half stars. As for marketing games and the possibly narrower size. I think everyone is right that it is narrower. I TP used to store very tightly when stack on top of each other on the shelf and now there's a little extra room. For me it's a non-issue as I don't rely on that dimension enough to notice, and it's a little easier for me to store... But I could see how it could concern some people, unfortunately there isn't a better alternative. As for a decrease in softness, again it's not one that I could notice and still better than the alternatives (since I find ultra soft tissues too linty or weak).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always thought highly of the Charmin brand and their products, and I even like their commercials. So... when I was asked to take the Charmin Ultra challenge I was excited to see what they had come up with this time. However, I did not notice much difference in the Charmin ultra vs. the regular Charmin. I know it is supposed to be stronger and maybe thicker, but I have personally always thought the original Charmin was thick enough. It has always been one of the thicker toilet papers, so the new Charmin Ultra is overkill in my humble opinion. At some point it can become to thick and wasteful. Softness and making sure that I am clean are the most important, so as long as it does those two things I am good.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As my initial review I am amazed at how strong this bath tissue is. It is not quite as soft as my regular bath tissue, but it is not like sand paper either. I have not noticed any tissue residue left on my behind, which is a big plus. The rolls are sized a little smaller with less sheets than my regular tissue, but I am finding I am using less for cleanup. Also the cost is more than my usual brand but using less makes up for it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I swapped out our usual store brand TP with the Charmin Ultra Strong that I got in the Bzzkit. My family and I never noticed the difference. When I checked the price in the grocery store, however, the difference was obvious. Charmin Ultra Strong is a perfectly fine toilet paper, but it's not worth the additional cost over generic.

The rolls of our previous brand didn't last very long, but these rolls seemed to last a lot longer because you use less.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't normally use Charmin toilet paper-just the bargain brand-so I was intrigued to try this variety of toilet paper. I noticed immediately that I didn't have to use as much of the toilet paper as I do with my normal bargain brand paper. My brother and dad also noticed the difference. I believe that the savings of not having to use as much paper will outweigh the money I save buying my bargain toilet paper!

My wife was concerned over the strong versus sensitive aspect that we normally prefer in our products, but even she was happy with the end result. She loves to coupon and has already started to search for a good deal on the Charmin Ultra Strong. I've mentioned it to a family member and even gave them one of our four rolls to go for a trial run. Never thought I'd be so excited about TP!
