It is actually strong, it doesn't tear easily when it's used and I do use less TP when I buy this fabulous product. It's by far my favorite bath tissue, in fact I've stopped using other brands of bath tissue all together. The only time I do buy another brand is if I can't find Charmin Ultra Strong, which hasn't happened in years. This is the best bath tissue on the market, why waste money on a lesser brand and product? I'm a Charmin Ultra Strong user For Life! Thank you so much for this wonderful product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm typically a Cottonelle user but this isn't a bad alternative. I find it a bit rougher than my favorite one but if it was on sale I would possibly purchase it. I don't think it is worth top dollar though.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Charmin surpasses the commercial toilet paper that I currently use and buy by the case. It is softer, stronger and I find to use less per use. It's thicker so you don't need a handful to crumple up to feel like you can get the job done without sticking a finger through it.

However when I compared it to my regular choice of toilet paper the roll was much smaller. I would purchase charmin ultra strong if my other choice was not available.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i decided to try charmin for the first time i normally go with other brands this brand is the most durable than the others that tend to fall apart sometimes and you have to use way more but not with this you can use a couple of peices and it does the job right and dont fall apart and make it a good clean feeling

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am not one to shop around for a new and better toilet paper and have only switched brands a few times over the last 25 years. Last year after using the same brand for 6 or 7 years, my girlfriend told me she didn't like my toilet paper, so I shopped around. I felt that while the big name brand that I was using was strong and reasonably soft. I tried several other name brands and even a couple of store brands. I finally settled on a store brand as a good mix of strength, softness and price. For this review, I have developed the first ever Toilet Paper Rating system. To put this into perspective, my original name brand (I'll call TP_A) was an 8 out of 10 for strength, a 6 for softness and a 3 on price (it was kind of expensive). The store brand I was using, I will call TP_B and the Charmin Ultra Strong I will call TP_C. Here is how they stack up: Brand Strength Soft Price Overall Rating (add scores) TP_A 8 6 3 17 TP_B 6 7 7 20 TP_C 7 7 5 19 While I feel the Charmin Ultra Strong is slightly better than what I was using, the store brand beats it on price. Overall I was happy with the Charmin, but the added price doesn't justify a spectacular review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had high hopes for this toilet paper. I'd always heard of Charmin and I think I had used it in the past, but I don't regularly buy it. We usually buy a cheap store brand, which does me fine. I actually think I prefer the scratchy feeling. Charmin ultra strong is most definitely strong, as I did not have any finger-through-paper incidents, which is nice! It is also soft, but there's a problem with the softness. It leaves lots of little bits between your cheeks, soft of little tiny bits of fluff. This is a complete deal breaker for me. I have an irrational hatred for any toilet paper that leaves me feeling like I am not clean. I'm going back to the cheaper store brand I use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Charming Ultra Strong Toilet Paper is truly twice as thick and absorbant as other toilet paper rolls. You will be able to use less of this toilet paper than ordinary toilet paper. I recommend it for a comfortable cleanup.

It is strong so you don't have to double up or triple up like I have to with single ply. Definitely a money saver since not as much toilet paper has to be used. Softness is always a plus...everyone knows why! I wish work would get this toilet paper.
