How about toilet paper that felt more like sand paper than toilet paper? I know that I have. With that in mind I have to say that this Charmin will do none of this. Instead, you are going to get the complete opposite. You are going to get a product that is durable and soft and will be something that you will want to come back to time and time again. I highly recommend!

After receiving my free sample of Charmin Ultra Strong I am convinced it is the way to go! The TP is so strong and effective, but also does NOT clog the toilets. PLUS, since it works so well, you don't need to use as much! One roll of this Charmin Ultra Strong is lasting me more than twice as long as my normal Angel Soft Roll. I can see that being a cost savings in the future. My family has tried this TP too and they love it. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone to try. My tendency in the past has been just to buy the cheapest TP out there, but after trying CHARMIN Ultra Strong , I am going to be buying Charmin more often.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] You can tell the difference in the Ultra Strong as soon as you take it out of the package. It has the same thickness of some paper towels, with all the softness you'd expect from Charmin. My wife and I both found that we're using less from each roll to do the same job. I'm not sure if it's enough to make the price worth it longevity wise, but each roll has been stretched. I liked that there is no dust with this thicker paper too. It's a clean product that does exactly as advertised.

Our household usually tries to save a few cents and goes with one of the better store brands, but when given the opportunity to try a sample of Charmin Ultra Strong through BzzAgent, I figured it was worth a shot. The first thing that I noticed when putting that first roll on the spool was that this was not the usual TP. It is noticeably stiff, but not in a bad way. Some brands are pillowy soft, but not this guy. Again, not in a bad way at all. You can just tell that this stuff is different. It's got some substance to it. IT feels . . . solid, firm. At this point, I was not sure how to feel about this. I mean, it was kind of interesting, but how would it feel in the end, no pun intended. Well, I was pleasantly surprised. I was concerned that the stiffness would come thorough once put into use. That fear was unfounded however. Things felt good, still solid, but not uncomfortable by any means. To the contrary, the solid feeling made it really seem like work was getting done. Another plus, there was no tearing or breaking apart and no little balls of fuzz if you know what I mean. There was also no tearing through layers like some TP's give you, which means less layers are needed. So, as far as I'm concerned, this is good stuff. Solid and durable, but not scratchy or uncomfortable at all. Personally, I would use again. Charmin Ultra Strong really made me feel as if I was getting something accomplished. Now, sharing the house with two girls, I was wondering how things would go over. My five year old daughter did not notice any difference until I asked her about it. Even then, she wasn't too interested. It did the job and that was good enough for her. Although, she was kind of impress when I held a doubled over piece under running water to see how long it would go before disintegrating. That was surprisingly long, especially when you consider how most brands would fall apart more-or-less instantly. The wife on the other hand had a differing opinion. She prefers something a bit on the softer side, so the Charmin Ultra Strong wasn't her favorite. She didn't totally dislike it and said that she wouldn't have a problem using it again, but given her druthers, she would probably go with something with a little more cushion to it. In reality, we will probably continue to buy based largely on price, but all things being equal in that regard, I would go with the Charmin Ultra Strong again. Super soft it is not, but it's more than soft enough as far as I'm concerned. And I challenge you to find a tougher, more durable toilet paper.

Very confortable and strong, and the roll lasts longer than I expected. Compared to my current brand, Charmin Ultra Stong doesn't cause discomfort or pain! I am so impressed!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Charmin Ultra Strong is an easy to use toilet paper. When you tear it off it doesn't split apart and comes off of the roller easily. It doesn't breakup on the roller and you get a firm but soft paper product to use. It leaves me in control of the paper and you don't waste by taking off more than you want to. It's soft and firm so I felt comfortable using it.

This toilet paper doesn't fall apart in your hand and you don't need a lot to hold up to a big mess, if you know what I mean. The other Charmin toilet papers don't begin to measure up to this one. I would recommend this one to everyone and anyone. I don't normally rave about toilet paper but this Charmin Ultra Strong really has me going beyond the norm and I am raving about it. It's a keeper for sure. I only wish my kit included some coupons to hand out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently was able to try out the new Charmin Ultra Strong bath tissue (aka toilet paper). The main thing I noticed was that the tissue definitely stands up to its name. The paper itself is very strong so you do not have to worry about the dreaded "finger busting through the paper mid-wipe" nightmare that most of us have experienced at least once in our lives! However, there is a trade-off for this peace-of-mind. I did not find the Charmin Ultra Strong to be particularly comfortable compared to other brands I have used. I liken the feeling to that of using a paper towel for your bathroom business. Absorbent and sturdy? Yes. Soft and soothing? Not really. Because of this I have mixed feelings. If you are most concerned with the strength of the paper and don't want to have to use several layers of a softer tissue at one time, then Charmin Ultra Strong may be a good choice. However, if a soft and comfortable toilet experience is more important, than you may want to try another Charmin product or a different brand altogether.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Charmin has always been a good brand and I have tried their other varieties before. Before trying this brand I had the ultra soft variety which works pretty well, but I think that the ultra strong type has a few advanatages. First of all just because it says it is strong does not mean it is uncomfortable and not soft. The Charmin Ultra Strong is still soft and confortable. What I did notice that was different between this and the softer toilet papers like quilted nortern and angel soft is that this toiletpaper is srong and I can use less of it since it does not break up while using it. This is a huge advantage since you use less and the roll lasts longer. For this reason and its general comfort I would recommend this brand.
