Because it's stronger and more absorbent than other brands, you use less, so you're not changing the roll as frequently; it's also blanket soft. Has some technology involved they call "Duraclean" having to do with the texture.

Doesn't flake which would create more dust in bathroom. I think that since not a lot is needed this is actually a cheaper option in the long run, or comparable in price to the third party brands.

I am not quite sure I can use another brand after this. Once I paid attention to the details, and thought about what was going on, it was a no brainer!

I have been buying Charmin Ultra Strong for years, I have extremely sensitive skin and it WAS the only toilet paper I could use. Bought a large package a few days ago, and the new change is not good. They say they only changed the embossing. But, now the toilet paper is hard, scratchy and crumbles with moisture. Very disappointed as I now have to try and find a toilet paper I can use.

However when I compared it to my regular choice of toilet paper the roll was much smaller. I would purchase charmin ultra strong if my other choice was not available.

If this bath towel was around during the big war, our enemies would have deserted their post and surrendered themselves to the the U.S. (Ultra Strong)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Coming from a family that has always gotten the cheapest (and usually roughest) toilet paper, the Charmin Ultra Strong was a nice change! What I Liked: -The toilet paper was very soft! Felt like I was wiping with a cloud! -As the name implies it was indeed very strong. The strength did not let me down. Not one time, did the paper tear. This was one of my favorite parts. -Didn't need much per wipe! I've been used to using a lot of paper per wipe due to the thin nature of toilet paper, but with Charmin Ultra Strong it was the opposite! No longer did I need to use nearly as much. What I see as cons: -For me the toilet paper seemed less absorbent than what I was used to. -Price is a big concern to me when shopping, so the higher price of Charmin tends to turn me away. Overall using the Charmin Ultra Strong was a good experience. Although, the price is higher than I would like, having to use less paper and having more comfort may just bring me to their brand next time I am in the store.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Charmin Ultra Soft is simply the best toilet tissue I have ever used. It's softnness is unrivalled and surprisingly its extremely strong as well. You'd think something so soft and gentle to the skin would just fall apart in your hand, but it holds up better than any other leading brand. It's absorbancy is quite impressing as well, having 3 males in the house we're often needing to wipe around the bowl. I find we're needing to use less and its going farther than if we'd bought multiple rolls of the cheap stuff. Three cheers for Charmin Ultra Soft indeed!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was surprised to see a strong and durable toilet paper but this is not that soft. The paper doesn't tear. But when it comes to wiping yourself in a sensitive area, it was like using a kitchen paper towel. I would not recommend this.

It stands up extremely well as a single sheet with its innovative fiber structure, and may even provide some competition with paper towels for household cleanup jobs. The rolls are long-lasting, which saves a lot of time and money. Very impressive product!
