[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I will never again be anything but Ultra Strong. I love the thick, yet soft texture. You definitely use less than your typical thing toilet paper. I really liked the fact that the roll seemed to last longer. Gone are the days of running out before you're finished. It may cost a bit more than the other choices but the quality more than makes up for the price, especially when you use so much less. You can actually save money. Give Charmin Ultra Strong a try. You'll be glad you made the switch.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My biggest pet peeve about 2-ply toilet paper is getting the roll started. When you open the roll and begin to use it, the 2-ply paper always separates. This causes the toilet paper to feel a lot thinner than it actually is, and makes it not "Ultra Strong."

I almost felt like the sheets were too thick, and was actually afraid that they would plug my toilet! I have to say it was very soft and soothing on my private areas though. I don't think I will replace my current bathroom tissue, as the Charmin brand is a little too expensive for me, and it doesn't necessarily last longer then my normal rolls.

I am always very apprehensive when trying out new toilet paper - will it be strong enough? will it leave residue? will it be too soft (yes, there is such a thing)? [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you are looking for a vey soft tissue tham this is the one for you!I found that the paper clogged my toilet very easily and that there was not a lot of tissue on a roll. I usually purchase Scott's regular tissue as it lasts so much longer. It may cost a little more but I feel if a product lasts longer, than it is a better investment. The tissue was soft and I could see that it would help someone who had issues with a harsher paper that irritated their skin.

I have tried all the competitors, none of them are even close to being on the same level as Charmin. You can rest assured you will be a happy person when using it. And it is toilet friendly too. No clogs!

Sure you use less with this, but the need to compress more sheets into every roll. I was also turned off that they cheapened it by making the paper smaller in size.

We found the Charmin Ultra Strong to be strong, yet reminded us of cardboard. The toilet paper was very "stiff" and lacked the softness that many consumers know Charmin for. We also had some concerns with how long this paper takes to break down and if it was really safe for our sewer system.

But when you finally find one that's as good as Charmin Ultra, you can't help but share your thoughts. Forget the other brands that are either too thin to be of any use or feel rough to the touch. Charmin Ultra are soft, comfortable and leave you feeling totally clean. They also have the added bonus of being more efficient than other toilet paper we've used, meaning you really can use less. So if the large rolls weren't a good enough reason to buy these, the fact that you're going to use less makes these much more cost-effective than other brands. We've found Charmin Ultra to be the king when it comes to our 'throne'. Long may it reign!
