[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In our household, the one thing we don't skimp on is the goods for the nether region. At times we have purchased Charmin or other comprable quality brands, it depends on which higher end TP is available in the store we are in. We usually buy the Charmin Ultra Soft as it's name is self explanatory. I was excited to try for free from Bzz Agent and Charmin the Ultra Strong variety. When I opened the box, I felt that the pkg of 4 rolls was on the small size as my wife has us usually stocked with 2x or 3x size rolls. I opened it and took it to the loo, and was pleased to not have tear throughs, or any other of that unmentionable mess that can occur. I felt the pattern stamped into the TP helped me to achieve that level of cleanliness. I didn't have to use many sheets which is something I always look for having a septic tank. I also found it strong enough to handle nose blowing. Allin all I am so far pleased with the versatility of the Charmin Ultra Strong.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ultra Strong lives up to the name, as it is some of the strongest toilet paper I have ever used, however, It is thick and stiff, with a paper towel like consistency. Works great for blowing your nose, wiping your face, etc. Not the most comfortable toilet paper to use when wiping your more sensitive areas. Overall, it lives up to the name, as it is "ultra strong", but with the added strength much of the softness is lost.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My review rating is strictly based on the quality of the paper, I'll expand on this particular package more a little later. It's strong enough to use only 2 squares in a pinch, while 3 squares is as strong and comfortable as 4 or 5 of any other quality brand. But even more importantly it's low linting unlike most other "soft" toilet papers. I am on public sewers so I don't worry at all about the extra bulk of the tissues, if you're on septic these are rated as safe, but of course safe and ideal may be two different things... I will say you can use less than other thinner brands so it should be a wash. As for the Double (2x) Roll vs Regular (1x), vs Big Roll (1.5x) vs Mega Roll (4x)... I'm split between this and the Mega roll as the best size to get. On one hand I hate changing rolls out all the time (which is why I don't buy the smaller sizes), but the Mega roll makes it too easy to take more paper than you need when you first put the roll on. So this is probably the best compromise but I'd like to see a 2.5x or 3x size roll. So for the length of the roll I would rate this pack as 4 and a half stars. As for marketing games and the possibly narrower size. I think everyone is right that it is narrower. I TP used to store very tightly when stack on top of each other on the shelf and now there's a little extra room. For me it's a non-issue as I don't rely on that dimension enough to notice, and it's a little easier for me to store... But I could see how it could concern some people, unfortunately there isn't a better alternative. As for a decrease in softness, again it's not one that I could notice and still better than the alternatives (since I find ultra soft tissues too linty or weak).

Recommended to my next door neighbor after showing him at his place when some juice was spilled. seems like he was convinced of the stronger than charmin basic.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've always been one who doesn't really think to much about toilet paper brand, that is until I had the chance to try out Charmin Ultra Strong! Not only can I use a fraction of the amount of paper of other brands, but it's softer than the competition too! No more sacrificing durability for softness or vice-versa. If you haven't tried Charmin Ultra Strong, take the plunge! My only warning: once you start wiping with Charmin Ultra Strong you'll never want to use anything else!

When I tried the Ultra strong CHARMIN, I have found a piece of heaven. It is soft and very strong. You have to use very small amount of paper. It cleans and feels great. Its is a great value for your money,and it last's along time.

It lasts a long time which saves time and money from going out and buying more often. It is the best toilet paper I have ever used and I will not compromise when it comes to this product. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I gave the Charmin® Ultra Strong 4 stars, as it was a very great product. I would have gave it 5 stars on the performance and comfort. The thickness however, might be a little overkill and I believe most people will still use an excessive amount.

I've used the competitor brand and to be honest I've had experiences were too rough and were not pleasant to use. Charmin Ultra Strong also comes in double rolls to ensure that you have a long lasting experience! If you are wondering if this tissue worth the investment, I would definitely recommend it to you.

My skin was not irritated at all, because it glides so easily against my skin. It is so soft that I use it to blow my nose!
