[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used Scott brand for years.. However, after trying the new Charmin Ultra strong, I think I may have to switch it up. It was comfy, yet sturdy. I even used a roll when I was sick to blow my nose. I am very satisfied with the Charmin brand bath tissue.

Those terrible, 1 ply rolls in public bathrooms? Yep. How about the cheap bulk packs that fall apart as soon as they touch your hand? Had them too. My favorite (not) is the RV safe rolls. Leaves you feeling worse than before you went in there! Now, with Charmin, I know what I'm getting. You look at the package and know that you're getting a quality product. Not only is it a nice soft ply, but its as strong as an ox also. The strength and comfort allow me to use less each time, therefore extending the life of the roll and leaving me clean and happy. No irritation, discomfort, and keeping it easy. A four pack has lasted me three times as long as a six pack of the cheap store brand ever did. No need to ever by "cheap" again! Don't believe me? Try it yourself. You wont be disappointed.

I previously had bought and used the Soft variety and this was my first experience with Ultra Strong. I was surprisingly pleased with how effective and still comfortable I found the product to be and have recommended it to others that I felt I could discuss bathroom habits with at work and home.

We have noticed in our household that we use much less of the Ultra Strong so it lasts longer than ordinary toilet paper.

Then I met my wife and she had another brand she would buy. Of course I didn't say anything except this one time when she asked me to pick up toilet paper and I came home with Charmin.. She asked me why I came home with that brand and I told her it was a better quality toilet paper.. She was skeptical until she tried it and agreed that it didn't pill up or rip through when using it. So the story goes, Charmin toilet paper has been our household brand for 20 years. Still married and convinced my wife of a better toilet paper..

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While deciding what to write I glanced at the January 2015 issue of Consumer Reports and saw that Charmin Ultra Strong is rated by CR as a best buy! It truly is the strongest toilet paper I have ever used. Stronger paper means using fewer sheets which is good for both the environment and the wallet. It is not the softest toilet paper I have used but it is certainly soft enough that it is not irritating in any way. Once again Charmin comes out on top!

It holds up well, is super absorbent and with Charmin Ultra Strong, less is more! So next time you are gearing up for your favorite outdoors activity, don't forget to add a roll of Charmin Ultra Strong to your pack. Sadly it was better but not good enough for the price this would cost compared to the current brand I use. Durability wise it was better it lived up to the ultra strong phrase.
