[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The paper on the roll was not soft at all. It was like using sandpaper. The paper was too thick for use and didn't wipe clean. Had to use twice or three times as much of this brand than the one we use. We gave the other 3 rolls away with similar complaints. I would not recommend this product to anyone. The cost is more for less satisfaction.

I normally would buy the cheapest brand possible but it just was not cutting our needs any more especially for our children. We found they were using way more toilet paper than needed simply because of how thin the sheets were. This in turn caused major clogging in our bathroom. I noticed a huge difference instantly when i switched to Charmin Ultra Strong. Each sheet is way more thick and better textured for a cleaner wipe. Unlike other brands, Charmin does not rip or tear while using. My children can now use way less sheets which I'm sure our toilet really appreciates and so far we have not had any clogging. Not only are the sheets super strong but they are also soft which is just as important. The strong and soft are so well balanced that there's no flaking or crumbling of the tissue. Charmin Ultra Strong holds up to its name and purpose. I use to believe all toilet paper is the same but after using this brand, I now know which brand to trust.

Unlike most gental tissues that either fall apart or leaves paper dust, Charmin has perfected the perfect blend between gentle and strong.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] To start with I have always thought toilet paper was all the same..can't say I have ever thought a lot about it...then I tried this Charmain ultrate and wow! I don't have to use nearly as much as other brands to begin with. Because it's thicker doesn't take as much. Even though it is thicker it's also very soft! It doesn't feel like it's going to rub my skin raw. I must say I'm sold! I am going to start recommending this brand to everyone!

Charmin is an old name with a superb reputation for quality. In addition, I would like to request that you make the paper tubes back to the size they once were. I would gladly pay more for your product so I would not have to change the roll so often...please!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you've never been stuck somewhere when nature calls and felt like you had to wait until you're back home to use YOUR bathroom tissue, you probably shouldn't try this product. Because after you do, you will not want to use another type of bathroom tissue (especially the ones they provide in public bathrooms) again. I've been a long time user of this particular toilet paper even before this campaign, and wouldn't buy any other type of bathroom tissue. The typical problems with other types are that it falls apart (not strong enough) or it feels like you're using some texture between sandpaper and cardboard. The Charmin Ultra strong solves both of these issues as it is very strong and quite soft for the strength. It's also absorbent, and allows you to get cleaner even more quickly. Bottom line here is that I have used this product for years and will continue to use only this product in the future. Hands down the best I have tried out there and would even go out of my way to use this over other bathroom tissue!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After keeping the Charmin Ultra Strong toilet paper in rotation at our house, the ladies are fed up. They claim the paper is very rough compared to our normal brand. I don't think we would purchase this variety again, given their outrage. However, it does seem to be more absorbent than our normal version and we will probably use less toilet paper overall. For those that don't mind the texture, it is probably an economical purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This toilet paper is thicker than I usually buy but it also seems like the rolls are smaller; but you need way less sheets in order to finish said job. All in all, it wasn't scratchy which is a definite plus and it was a nice toilet paper to use. I would consider buying this if it was on sale or there were coupons available.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I did the absorbency test and will say that this product is more absortent than my usual brand. I however feel the product is to thick of course that is better than to thin. I would reccomend this product if you prefer a thicker toilet paper. I believe me and my family will continue using angel soft as it has been a happy medium in our house. Not to thick and not to thin. If charmin were to reduce the thickness of the toilet paper I would however consider trying it again

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Growing up, I always remember seeing and hearing the "Don't Squeeze The Charmin" ads on TV. I'm glad I remembered them and tried the Ultra Strong. I prefer strong over soft because for me it cleans better. Charmin Ultra Strong fits the bill. It holds together and cleans well. Also no dyes to irritate. Keep up the good work!
