It takes a minimal amount of sheets to do the same job as the budget brand toilet paper. Plus, no need to worry any longer about poking a hole through the paper when finishing up. Overall Charmin Ultra Strong is a consistent, comfortable, and reliable brand that everyone should use in their home.

With other toilet paper that doesn't work because it either breaks apart or their hands get dirty buy Charmin Ultra Strong is great. Its tough and strong for children yet its super soft to the touch so they don't get irritated.

While it does clean better than my normal brand it is also twice the price and did not do that much better to justify paying more for it. I would use it more often if it were on sale or cheaper but at this time I will stick to what is familiar. As far as recommending it, I'd say try it in a small pack before you buy it to see how it stacks up with what you are used to.

However the rolls ran out extremely quickly, much faster than our usual brand of toilet paper. Overall I wasn't so impressed with the product that I would switch from our normal brand. If someone asked me about it I would give a positive opinion on it but I would not go out of my way to recommend it to anyone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When talking about that most private visit to the throne, I must say that I found this Charmin Ultra Strong while stronger than other Charmin it wasn't as soft as the Ultra Soft I had been using. The size of the tissue pieces seems to be smaller too. I didn't find that I used less. It seemed I had to replace the roll sooner than I have in the past. I have been using it in my bathroom only, and I think that perhaps I will put it in the guest bathroom and see if anyone notices the difference, we are expecting some guests in the next few weeks.

Other charmin kinds leave little fuzzies, and this doesn't. I'm pleasantly surprised. It's thicker than scott brand which I normally use, I think I use the same amount though, just out of habit. I have to remind myself to put a few squares back because it is so much thicker and I don't need as much. I like that it's septic safe, that's really important to us because our landlord specified to use septic safe paper. I would recommend this to others, but I need to see prices to say if I'll buy it regularly.

I was a supporter and loyal customer of the Charmin Ultra Strong toilet paper for years, because of the excellent quality of the product. However, I noticed a stark difference from what I had been using when I last purchased the Ultra and the last package that I purchased only confirmed my thoughts on the subject; Charmin has begun to cheap out like every other corporation these days. The toilet paper is not as strong or as thick, and I highly doubt this is a 'manufacturing' blip on the screen. It seems every corporation on the planet is making product cheaper and cheaper, including my once favourite toilet paper. Charmin, you have lost me as a customer. I will save my money (as your product is a premium price) and look for another brand.

I have to say tho that I am not really swayed either way with the ultra Charmin. it is strong, but I don't think it's as soft as the regular Charmin. I like my toilet paper to have a soft feel rather than rough. I have to say when my infant tried to tear off the sheets it he did have a tougher time...
