It is very high quality and does not tear except at the perforations. If you like two ply toilet paper you will definitely like Charmin Ultra Strong, it is the heavy weight of all toilet papers.

Let me tell this, I used one roll for a whole week and my toilet clogged 3 times. The ply are thick and not soft. I have used store brands that are softer and won't clog the toilet. I don't think so I would purchase this product in the future.

Using Charmin in the past was always about softness but that didn't give you what you need and that is to be clean. I liked being able to use a minimal number of sheet to feel safe and still clean. Using less paper makes the cost comparable to other brands and you get the peace of mind that Charmin allows. I think this will be my brand and style from now on.

I felt like I could use it for paper towels in a pinch, they seemed that strong. I found myself not having to take large amounts of toilet paper off the roll to feel comfortable about my "wipe". Also, I was worried because the rolls seemed smaller than my normal TP yet that wasn't the case, it seemed like the rolls lasted longer than I'm used to. I will definitely be purchasing more of this brand in the future.

I typically use Charmin soft, and I think I will continue to use that. I wish there could be a happy medium between the two products.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I received the Charmin product, I was already familiar with the product as it is one of the primary toilet paper I use. I like the Strong version because it holds up to some of the toughest jobs. Where as the other brands tends to rip or tear under strain. I like the feeling of the Charmin Strong toilet paper next to my skin unlike other brands I've used that are cheaper to make. This product feels like cotton balls or soft tissues as where the other brands feel mostly like wax paper or even sand paper. This is one of the times that you really understand where your money is going and at what cost. The product you choose depends on the choice you make and that alone makes an important impact on you and your family. Sure, there are other brands out there that are cheaper and still do the job but at what cost? We owe it to ourselves to weight the cost against our own comfort and then decide which is better. I opt for Charmin Strong toilet paper because it does the job accurately with the most comfort. I would definitely buy this product and would offer my highest recommendation to anyone who asks for my opinion.

However, I don't feel it is as soft as I would like. I currently use Cottonelle brand, and I could see that I might change to Charmin Ultra Strong. Just not sure if I want to give up the softness. I would certainly recommend Charmin Ultra Strong to anyone, especially if you are wanting to use less toilet paper.

It is tough when you need it, but still really soft yet won't tear apart during use. The big rolls keep the roll in use much longer.

I like it because my 2 little girls don't seem to ever use the appropriate amount of toilet paper, always too much or too little, but with Charmin Ultra strong when they do take too little it's nice and thick, and absoorbs a lot. I have noticed little pills of toilet paper being left behind after they do wipe. It could be the toilet paper or it could be my kids. I have tried Charmin Ultra Soft in the past and I prefer it over the Ultra Strong because it is sooooo soft! Overall, Charmin is a great product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In all honesty, if you're looking for TP that's soft and smooth, this is your brand of toilet paper. It doesn't get much better than this when it comes to comfort on your behind. Would have given it 5 stars without a doubt except for one caveat.... It's extremely easy to clog the toilet. It's so thick is like trying to flush PT -paper towel - down the drain. I spent more time with a plunger with these 4 rolls than a 24 pack of other leading brands. Overall, it's great on your rear end, but the trade off for having to deal with flushing after every other wipe or dealing with a plunger simply isnt worth it.
