[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a current user of Charmin Basic bathroom tissue, I was happy to try another Charmin product. While Charmin Ultra Strong is not as soft as either Charmin Ultra Soft or the previous Charmin red packaged tissue paper, it is much softer than many cheaper toilet tissue brands. I found Charmin Ultra Strong to be comparable in softness to Charmin Basic. When dry, Charmin Ultra Strong lives up to its name. Compared to the single ply Charmin Basic, Ultra takes more force to tear. However when wet, it breaks up easy and does not clog the toilet bowl. Where Charmin Ultra falters in in the size of the rolls. While each Charmin Basic double roll is 264 sheets, Charmin Ultra Strong is only 165 sheets. Even though the package says use up to 4x less, I found myself using the same amount as before, so the rolls ran out much quicker. While Charmin Ultra Strong is a fine product and lives up to the Charmin name, I am I going to stick with Charmin Basic as it meets my my overall needs for a toilet tissue at a price I can afford.

When I first put this in our guest bathroom, the guests and I directly noticed the change. It was a huge upgrade over my old TP. The quality is great, extra soft on the skin, ultra strong in the waste. Love the product and the brand!

I don't have to use no where near as much toilet paper and I feel clean all day long. It truly is a great brand. I have even made some friend use the bathroom at my house just so they could try it too

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ok -- I have to tell you that my preferred brand is always Quilted Northern tissue but this Charmin tissue has really made me stop and think about what I should be actually purchasing. I am a big fan of soft tissue and can always tell the difference between good quality tissue and cheapo bath tissue. This is not only very soft but is strong too. Definitely a winning combination. I have always enjoyed their television ads but have just never considered purchasing until I was able to try it out. Thanks.

So when I saw that Charmin had an ultra strong brand I decided to try it.. Not only is it very soft and comfortable to use, it didn't fall apart while I was using it! I didn't have to use a while bunch rolled around my hand to make sure I didn't end up using my hand and there wasn't a lot of little pills all over me when I was done.. If I need a TP to get the job done right, it will be Charmin Ultra Strong from now on!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm pretty particular with certain things, and toilet paper is one of them. I like soft papers, but when they're so soft that they flake and crumble apart, then it's a negative. I like strong papers, but most are strong brands are too rough. Charmin Ultra Strong is the perfect balance between the two. It's not the softest, but soft enough to be comfortable. And it's strong enough to handle any job. It doesn't crumble apart, it doesn't irritate the skin, and it also gets the job done with less overall paper. I prefer to use the Mega Rolls, because then I have to change the rolls less often. I also have to admit that I use Charmin Ultra Strong for other uses as well. I use it as facial tissue, to clean small spills, general light cleaning around the house, you name it. It's strong enough to handle any of those simple tasks. I don't normally make it a habit to talk about toilet paper, but if anyone wanted a recommendation, I would definitely say that Charmin Ultra Strong is the one to use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I did like the ultra strong, I felt it lived up to it's advertising which is unusual I think. It was stronger without being rough. My one issue with it was that I found it to be a bit on the linty side. If that could be improved I would call it darn near perfect.

Family members did not complain and everyone seems to be happy. The packaging was good it was not hard to open.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We don't really have what you would call a go to brand of toilet paper, although Angel Soft is what we most commonly purchase. That has nothing to do with any type of brand loyalty, and it usually end up in out shopping cart because our local supermarket has it on sale. We were very willing to be swayed when we received our Charmin Ultra Strong in the mail. After a few days of use, we are very much a house divided. My wife loves the strength of the toilet paper, as well as the comfort, while I am totally not sold on the comfort aspect. To me, this is more like a paper towel than a toilet paper. Despite the claim of double rolls, I also find that we are going through this faster than the Angel Soft. In short, by sticking with what we usually get, I think we will be getting a better deal that is also more comfortable to us. I think what this shows is that items such as this are more about personal preference. If my wife does the grocery shopping, I would no be surprised to see her come home with another batch of Charmin.
