We found that we can use less sheets since it really stands up to any wiping without any tearing or anything else. It's nice not to use as much tissue and it still does the job. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that there is potential that if someone got a stomach bug and had to visit the toilet often that the lack of softness would hurt with wiping sooner than softer toilet paper. Other than that it has our support.

I will continue to use it as it holds up better than any other toilet paper I have used. You also need to less of it than other brands since it is heftier to begin with.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This may sound weird but I take my toilet paper seriously. Ever since I graduated college (a LONG time ago), I promised myself I'd never deal with bad TP again. And I've stayed true to that promise. I took the opportunity presented to give this new Charmin a test run. My normal brand is not Charmin so I was intrigued. Unfortunately, that's where the excitement ended. I put it in our master bath for my wife and I try and the consensus is that it's simply not as good as our current brand. On first glance, the Charmin looks to be soft and well-made but once you use it, you find that it's actually rather stiff and rough. Depending on the situation it was more of a spreader than actual wiper. We tried to be fair and went through 3 of the 4 rolls but as soon as our back-up roll holder was empty we refilled it with our normal brand.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Charmin Ultra Strong is just what it says. It is very strong and gets the job done with no tearing or leaving pieces behind. But, it claims to be septic safe and "Roto Rooter" approved. I am a plumber and have done the water test myself and it does not get the septic safe approval from me. It is strong but still too strong for septic systems.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Scotts is our normal brand and so I was kind of iffy about Charmin. We changed out our rolls and came to the following conclusions... It's softer than our, and is thicker. We use it up about the same as our regular stuff. So it comes to pricing now. Next trip to the store I'll be comparing!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Charmin Ultra Strong is just what I like in a toilet paper. It's thick, sturdy, and soft too. Due to its strength, I can get away with just using two or three sheets instead of more. That's a money saver for me. My young son, who was recently toilet trained, does very well with this TP. My typical store-brand tissue is soft, but not as thick as this, and it tears and soaks through much more easily. I would definitely consider switching to this Charmin tissue from here on out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i usually buy scotts toilet paper because its cheap and not that bad on the rear end. but then i used charmin ultra soft wow is this toilet paper nice and soft and also reasonably priced i told everyone i worked with about how soft it was about 25 guys said they were gonna have their wives buy some charmin ultrasoft to try out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Although my title words, strong & soft, may seem like opposites, they are the exact words needed to describe this toilet paper. Soft so it doesn't scratch your skin. Strong so it holds up to the wipe, with less needed than with other toilet paper. This will DEFINITELY be my toilet paper of choice from now on.
