While the emphasis is on its strength, this product is also very soft and you do not need much to get the job done. I'm pretty picky with the type of toilet paper I buy and this is one of my top 3.

I love the brand and that they are respected but don't take themselves too seriously -- but more importantly I love their product! It gets the job done without living anything behind...on your behind! What more could you ask for?

I use so much less when I go but I never feel like it's going to rip or tear when I wipe. Not only that, but now I will save more money since I'm using less per trip. Win - Win....definitely switching to Charmin!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have not purchased Charmin in the past, mostly because I've had septic problems and always thought Charmin was too bulky and might cause clogging problems... so, I stuck with cheaper quality, store brands mostly. I have to say, Charmin Ultra Strong may have changed my mind! It's strong and durable, and you don't have to use nearly as much as you use with the cheap/store brands. It's nice and soft too, and definitely doesn't have that "rough" feel that other brands have. When I opened the package, I thought the rolls looked small...however, they are LONG lasting. Like I mentioned earlier, you don't need to use as much as the usual generic brand that I have used in the past. Definitely will buy this again!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Im a big fan of charmin products first of all. The ultra strong is in fact very strong and never had an issue witg it tearing unexpectedly. It is a little bit rough so I prefer the ultra soft in comparison to this product. Much better quality than most store brands and some name brands as well. Doesnt leave a lot of flakes behind and thats great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall this product is advertised for bring a strong toilet paper which i believe after trying it that it absolutely is....its fairly soft...a little rigid...no weird smell (hey! i blow my nose with this stuff and some of the products out there smell awful!) The only reason i am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is normally i buy the "Clean" TP...meaning leaving behind minimal residue...i found with this toilet paper that it leaves behind for a lack of better words...toilet paper crumbs....EW! lol....overall seems to be a good sturdy toilet paper but may want to clean up after...i know for me..i dont always have time for that....but i am not complaining as i received this product for free from Charmin to test and out try...happy booties all around ;)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Usually I buy whatever TP is on sale. However after using Charmin Ultra Strong I don't think I'll be doing that any more. My wife uses excess TP but she's learning she does not need so much with this product. That in itself will save me money.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was always a battle in my house when picking a bathroom tissue. Who doesn't want their bathroom tissue to feel soft on their skin but it also has to be strong enough that your fingers don't poke through when wiping. I would choose the rougher brand and my wife would choose the wimpy brand. Finally Charmin as developed a product that is both strong and soft to the touch. I also am impressed with the fact that I can actually use less tissue per visit to the bathroom. The fact that it is safe for my septic system gives me peace of mind.
