[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am not a toilet paper connoisseur, but I do like comfort when "finishing up". I don't need toilet paper with a fancy design. I just want something that won't break or tear when in use and something that's not going to scratch your skin during the wipe...and Charmin Ultra Strong does that! You can tell by your first touch that it was built for strength and comfort (sounds like I am talking about a truck). You don't need to use 1/2 a roll to do your business. It's thick enough that you can get by with your bare minimum, which for me is a good thing since that will save me some money in the long run. I will definitely be buying tis again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After Receiving the ultra strong charmin I had high hopes of a strong but soft toilet paper. But after review it seems strong but not too soft. The rolls are very small and go very fast. Over all I think it's a good toilet paper just the price point is what stops me from buying charmin.

The texture was rough and grainy, which is probably why it's called ultra strong. It is definitely a strong toilet paper and you do use significantly less than other brands. However, i just could not get over the texture. Personally, it was too rough. I do like the charmin brand but will stick to the charmin ultra soft.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i decided to try charmin for the first time i normally go with other brands this brand is the most durable than the others that tend to fall apart sometimes and you have to use way more but not with this you can use a couple of peices and it does the job right and dont fall apart and make it a good clean feeling

Quite thick and luxurious feeling. Definitely not the cheap single ply stuff. Just pull off one square to check it out and you will know that it is going to do the job it was designed for well while providing comfort.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With so many people in the same household we are using so much toilet paper. I never realized that Charmin Ultra Strong was so good. It did not leave a trail of paper on the bottom. It was soft and we used less of it. I found my children also used it as tissue for there nose as it was that soft. It may be a little bit more expensive then the unbranded yet it lasts longer so we dont spend as much as we thought we would. I have bought more Charmin Ultra Strong and I think I will continue with this bathroom tissue.

I found that using CHARMIN Ultra Stong make roughing it a lot easier. Less paper to use and it es hight effective it the wilderness. And of course when you are in the comfort of your home it is comforting knowing it only take a litte and it is strong enough not to have your fingers go thru the tissue. I tell the guys before leaving for that hunting or fishing trip CHARMIN ULTRA STRONG is a must in your bags. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried Charmin Ultra Strong and while I could notice a difference in the thickness I didn't find that it gave any more advantage over by store brand roll. In fact it gave me some issues that makes it worse than my normal toilet paper in my opinion. Because it is thicker it seemed to have a deeper perforation than other toilet paper to make it easier to tear. While it tears easily off the roll it also tears easily in your hand. When using it I had my finger poke through at a perforated part way too easily ,which is not something you want in your toilet paper. I also noticed that both my wife and I went through the rolls at a higher rate. They didn't seem to clean any better than a regular roll so have no real advantages in my opinion.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was a little skeptical before trying the Charmin Ultra Strong toilet paper since it wasn't the first brand I had tried that claimed to be very strong. Surprisingly, it did live up to that claim and in the end I switched to the Charmin Ultra Strong from the Cottonelle brand I had been using as my main brand. Pros of the Charmin: It feels noticeably thicker and soft to the touch,...somewhat cushiony. It is strong as they claim, it didn't tear, poke through, or pill as weaker brands do. Since it's stronger and thicker you will use less. The package claims up to 4x less, I would say you will use about half the amount you would normally use unless you have really thin garbagey toilet paper like I have at work- what a colleague calls "tracing paper" instead of toilet paper. Cons: Although it is soft to the touch when you actually use it on your ...ahem...sensitive area then you find out it's not quite as soft as you think. It's not rough but it's also not soft....somewhere in between...my guess is that that strength comes at a price.... It's more expensive- at times double the price of even Charmin's ultra soft type. Still, since you are using about half the amount you kind of break even so I don't really consider that much of a deterrent. Overall opinion: Although, not quite as soft as I would have imagined it from feeling it by hand it's still soft enough and much stronger than any other brand I have tried. I find that taking everything into account it is worth the switch and is the new brand of choice for me. It is more expensive and can be up to double the price of even Charmin's other choices but since you are using half the amount you would use if using other types I feel that isn't a deal breaker. Besides with a sale and coupon you are then ahead of the game. If you are tired of toilet paper ripping , tearing and needing to fold it over 2 or 3 times to get the job done then this one is definitely worth checking out.

This does a great job, but doesn't stand out over the high-end Wegmans branded or Quilted northern. I'd suggest buying it if its priced well, but I didn't see anything that suggests that you should pay a premium over others in the same tier.
