[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm usually not too picky when it comes to toilet paper- at best, it's nice; at worst, it's slightly uncomfortable. But Charmin's Ultra Strong was actually really great. True to its name, it was very strong and didn't tear easily. It was also quite absorbent and you don't need to use very much to get the job done. My only complaint is that it isn't the softest toilet paper I've ever used. While it's not rough by any stretch of the imagination, it's not fluffy and feathery like some others. However, since it is always a tradeoff between comfort and function, I think Charmin Ultra Strong is definitely soft enough given how well it performs. Overall, I'd definitely use this again!

This toilet paper is super soft and I was genuinely loving it.i will def use this when the campaign is over. it seems told hold up better than other brands ive used in the past. it seems to last a lot longer than other brands as well. and with kids using it we go threw a lot.

I have used Charmin Ultra Strong for 30 plus years. I am very disappointed that you have went from 4-1/4 inch wide toilet paper to 4 inches. I am going to be forced to look for another toilet paper that has kept the 4-1/4 inch wide sheets. I know that someone has gotten a bonus for this cost savings. But, in the long run, you will be loosing long term customers. Very disappointed in this downsizing. But, I still like the quality of your toilet paper. The only reason I will not recommend this product now is because of the decrease in width.

Although it is strong it is still nice and soft and doesn't tear easily. This tissue is of higher quality compared to my regular bathroom tissue. I will continue using this tissue as long as the price is affordable. I would highly recommend this tissue!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first things I noticed was 4 rolls in the package, so it could have a good try & the rolls are a little narrower which i'm not sure what that means. So here goes the test. The test went very well, it seemed soft, didn't need much & didn't seem to tear easily. All 4 rolls have now been used and am pleased with the results. Seemed to hold up well with use. Definitly worth using again when available. Don't let the narrower with get you; It didn't seem to make a difference in use. Will definitly be looking for at the store when available.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't know what it was about this TP but Charmin Ultra Strong will definitely not be purchased in this household. My wife and I both tried the free six pack we got from BzzAgent and we both had the same feelings: it was too thick and it felt weird. I guess it was the texture? Not to mention you REALLY need to change your TP usage habits with this thicker tissue (so you don't overuse or clog the toilet). We were both of the same mind though, we will stick with our Scott's TP.

Its strong yet soft just like those bears say. My only complaint is it just cost to much at the store. Their are other brands just as good for half the price. I mean in the end its just paper here people, and I for one don't like to waste money. If you do then this is the paper for you.

Everyone wants to be clean, and you can do it with this ultra strong toilet paper! We were always fans of other competitive tissue, and the reason was simple. We didn't find a stronger tissue, that was reasonably priced, and well worth it. We finally found Charmin! Beats the competitors bar-none! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My review rating is strictly based on the quality of the paper, I'll expand on this particular package more a little later. It's strong enough to use only 2 squares in a pinch, while 3 squares is as strong and comfortable as 4 or 5 of any other quality brand. But even more importantly it's low linting unlike most other "soft" toilet papers. I am on public sewers so I don't worry at all about the extra bulk of the tissues, if you're on septic these are rated as safe, but of course safe and ideal may be two different things... I will say you can use less than other thinner brands so it should be a wash. As for the Double (2x) Roll vs Regular (1x), vs Big Roll (1.5x) vs Mega Roll (4x)... I'm split between this and the Mega roll as the best size to get. On one hand I hate changing rolls out all the time (which is why I don't buy the smaller sizes), but the Mega roll makes it too easy to take more paper than you need when you first put the roll on. So this is probably the best compromise but I'd like to see a 2.5x or 3x size roll. So for the length of the roll I would rate this pack as 4 and a half stars. As for marketing games and the possibly narrower size. I think everyone is right that it is narrower. I TP used to store very tightly when stack on top of each other on the shelf and now there's a little extra room. For me it's a non-issue as I don't rely on that dimension enough to notice, and it's a little easier for me to store... But I could see how it could concern some people, unfortunately there isn't a better alternative. As for a decrease in softness, again it's not one that I could notice and still better than the alternatives (since I find ultra soft tissues too linty or weak).
