It seems less soft than say, quilted northern but what it lacks in softness it makes up for in absorbency. It seems equally durable to other brands in my opinion. Overall: thumbs up and something I'll buy again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Charmin is one of the oldest and trusted tissue brands out there. I grew up on it along with a few other name brands. However, when it's stacked up against some other leading brands, this particular Charmin is not the softest. Like the packaging says, it is ultra strong. It doesn't rip as easy as some other brands on the market. Another positive thing I can say is that the roll lasted a long time.

I purchase the Charmin Mega Rolls toilet paper at my local Walmart store. What I like about this particular toilet paper is actually the thickness of the 2 ply sheets and how they don’t fall apart in the toilet clogging up into the septic tank like some of the less expensive brands do. They flush clean and easily. If you’re looking for a good value in toilet paper try the Charmin Mega rolls. They come in many different size packs and they are always are good value Hope this review helps!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The toilet paper was very soft and strong at the same time. I was surprised by how soft it was for being a strong, thick toilet paper. The only problem that consistently happened was the toilet paper would clog the toilet, even though it stated that it wouldn't clog the toilet. I would recommend this toilet paper as long as you have a strong flush to the toilet to allow the paper to go down.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recieved Charmin Ultra Strong toilet paper to try out through bzzagent.com from Charmin. Charmin Ultra Strong definey lives up to its name, it is strong and doesn't rip easily like a lot of other toilet paper does. I myself prefer toilet paper that isn't too rough but isn't too soft, so kinda in between. This toilet paper in my opinion is too soft for me. There are positive things about this toilet paper such as its thick so your fingers don't break through it and since its so thick and strong I believe you don't have to use quite as much as you would other brands. Its just not for me. If it wasnt quite as soft i think it would be perfect but its just not the toilet paper for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our family has used Charmin for years, it is our toilet paper of choice. We have always used Charmin Ultra Soft. While the Ultra Strong toilet paper is durable it is definitely not as soft as the Ultra Soft which is quite important for our family. It is definitely softer than the "cheap" industrial toilet paper but my vote still goes to Ultra Soft ...we're just sensitive people!

I found in the stores that the price is higher than I'm wiling to pay for Jane Paper, but it's definitely another quality product from Proctor and Gamble.

To say I have been a 4 square person for the past 30 years would be accurate. But now with Ultra Strong I am a 3 square person with better results. You can use less paper with the same results. Just love Ultra Strong

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This toilet paper is awesome. I was nervous at first because we have a septic tank, but I was surprised to see it was septic safe. Other brands that I have tried that are septic safe are not as soft or strong as this one. I think the best feature is the price. I have already started replacing the brand I used previously with the Charmin Ultrastrong. Double roll, soft, strong and inexpensive, you can't go wrong with this product!
