My infant daughter has severe eczema and so I've had to go on a strict elimination diet for 9 weeks and counting as I slowly reintroduce foods. I had been waiting years and years to buy a new blender, and I knew I wanted a Vitamix to make truly smooth blends. The 10 year warranty on the Ascent models made the choice for me. I am SO SO glad to have had another way to get my nutrition when it feels like I've been so deprived. Adding spinach or carrots to my fruit smoothie with some collagen powder has made this time so much easier. Be careful not to overdue it will ingredients (the vitamix can handle it easily, but your gut is not made to process that volume of fiber - and it's easy to add to much sugar, even in the form of fruit). Very satisfied with my purchase!

Just to be upfront, we also own a Nutribullet and I saw some news coverage that indicated that it could potentially be unsafe and explode during use due to pressure buildup. Although we've never experienced anything to that extreme, my wife primarily used it to make baby food and she generally is holding our little one in her arms during the process. That said, safety is paramount when it comes to my loved ones and I didn't want to take any chances. I decided to by the A2500. I haven't used it all that much but my wife uses it almost daily. She loves the machine. I say machine because this thing is SERIOUS! Serious as in, I'm in awe of the quality of it. It speaks and feels professional in every manner of the word. I would only make a few recommendations for improvements: -The wife uses it everyday however, she won't use it beyond 7 because it has so much power, it literally scares her. She feels that it would be nice if the base had a locking system of some sort. She honestly feels like it may come off because of the power of the motor. -The other concern she has is that when she makes soups or purées/baby food, sometimes liquid will come out of the lid plug... again, particularly at high levels. Again, because the baby is constantly hanging on or around her, she feels like this is a safety issue. Aside from these concerns, this machine is seriously amazing. It's like a work of art in my opinion. It looks gorgeous in our kitchen!

We use this fabulous machine every day. There's not much it can't do! We make our own frozen desserts from fresh ingredients now - no more chemical ice cream! Sauces, smoothies, meringues - chopping nuts, mixing batters - and it's so easy to clean!

Love my new Vitamix! My almond milk is so much more creamy and thick, the blender is able to extract so much more out of the almonds. Even my 5 year old notices the difference! I have a smoothie almost daily now because I can’t pass up using my vitamix.

I bought my A2500 Vitamix and I am so happy I did. The tamper comes in handy to push my frozen kale veggies down. My kale shake comes out smoothe. The Vitamix is so easy to clean with one drop of soap and fill blender halfway with water and run for 30 seconds. it came with a 10 year warranty. It’s perfect !!! I would highly recommend Vitamix,

I bought the Vitamix because I found out I have high cholesterol and I wanted to increase the fibre and veggies in my diet. It has been so great! I can make delicious whole food smoothies and frozen desserts. I love how it is so powerful and I can incorporate nuts into anything! I also purchased the food processor attachment which I have to say is not as good. I have used it a couple times and I could have easily just used the blender attachment. I recommend buying the A2500 which will give you the option of attachments but wait to see if you actually need it.

I have not used all the features yet and am excited to use it for soups and frozen deserts soon. I have used it extensively to make healthy smoothies and am so pleased with the consistency of my drinks. It blasts it's way through kale and every kind of fruit or vegetable I give it. I do have a hard time with getting the cover off because it clips on which is new for me, but overall would give it a strong 4.5 stars.

Does the job but very loud and doesn't sound as smooth functioning inside the machine. So far, the blending seems to be on par with the first machine we had BUT this model is extremely loud in comparison! I was shocked the first time I turned it on. And it moves around on the counter quite a bit when on the smoothie mode. Not the best model we have had but our other machine broke and I don't want to be without a machine while we figure out if another model would be as effective but more quiet. We will see how long it lasts for...sounds rough.

I'm very pleased with my new Vitamix, with which I have already made a bunch of great blends: perfectly smooth hummus, delish babaganoush, fresh peach sorbet, and multiple awesome drinks including something like a Frappacino. True, it wasn't cheap, but the best things rarely are.... no surprises, no buyer's remorse.

We have had our Vitamix for a month, and it is the best tool in my kitchen. We are vegan eaters, so having the ability to mix and blend veggies to make sauces, soups, nut milks, smoothies, and juices is really important for our diet. Last night, I used our Vitamix to make cashew milk and spinach soup. The only 'recommendation' that I have is do not use the 'soup' setting on the device unless you need a really airy soup. The soup setting makes the soups frothy which isn't always what you want in a soup. Other than that, I highly recommend this kitchen device!
