I didn't realize how much I would absolutely LOVE this Vitamix. I have had two other blenders and didn't use them very much...probably because they didn't work the best. Best advice I read from someone else before I purchased my Vitamix...was that if you get a piece of equipment that doesn't work like you'd like it to. you won't use it. I totally agree! I am telling everyone...it's worth the price!

I bought it because i thought it will be easier to use compare to the manual one turns out that its not sensing the sensor will take 5 min to 10 minutes of turning or pulling in and out before it senses and E10 always come out so have to turn it on and off.

I've had my Vitamin for a month now and I am so glad I made the investment to purchase this product! I use it almost every day, and sometimes twice a day. My fiancé and I use it for smoothies and sauces; as it gets into the colder months I look forward to trying soups. I appreciate the preprogrammed functions as that is what I use most. Wold definitely recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had my Vitamix A2500 for around two months now and have used it many times. I've made lots of smoothies, some sauces, tried my hand at peanut butter, and have used it in pureeing. I can say that I am very happy with how it performs. It makes the smoothies smooth and it does a great job of grinding up cashews in a soup base. The only thing I've ever had an issue with is doing ice cream or pureeing lentils. The contents gets real thick and it's hard to keep it moving. I've had it give me an error message after that but I just let it cool down and it's seemed to have worked fine ever since. I bought it mostly to use in my new eating of Nutritarian eating. It is working very well compared to my old Oster brand mixer. That one didn't chop up the spinach as smooth or even the cashews in a soup base. I am very pleased with my purchase and look forward to many years of use from it!

Hands-down an amazing blender for smoothies, almond milk, soup, & anything liquid... it always gives perfect results and silky smooth texture. However, for thicker things like hummus, it works okay but requires frequent scraping and stirring to get any sort of consistent result (I think my classic wide-blade food processor worked better for those types of things).

I've been familiar with Vitamix's blenders for a long time, and just received the A2500 as a gift. I decided on this blender over other Vitamix blenders because I was excited about the smart detect technology and the compatibility with the food processor attachment. When the blender arrived, I was shocked at how cheap it looked. Right out of the box there were some nicks on the plastic and the entire base is comprised of plastic pieces that don't seem durable. The see-through container and snap on lid, while I understand it's purpose, seems less durable than the black lids. The tamper is what I was most shocked about as it resembles a bowling pin, hollow and cheaply assembled. I've talked to other Vitamix owners about this and the consensus seems that Vitamix has decreased it's quality over the past few years. I'm glad there is a 10 year warranty. I was honestly hoping for more and wasn't expecting this level of disappointment. Are Vitamix's just gonna get more cheap??

We have had our Vitamix for a month, and it is the best tool in my kitchen. We are vegan eaters, so having the ability to mix and blend veggies to make sauces, soups, nut milks, smoothies, and juices is really important for our diet. Last night, I used our Vitamix to make cashew milk and spinach soup. The only 'recommendation' that I have is do not use the 'soup' setting on the device unless you need a really airy soup. The soup setting makes the soups frothy which isn't always what you want in a soup. Other than that, I highly recommend this kitchen device!

I've had my Vitamix A2500 for over a month now and love it. I have made smoothies for friends and they are convinced they need one as well. After having a Vitamix smoothie, you will never again want to use any other blender. Worth the money and with a 10 year warrantee, you can't go wrong.

This blender is absolutely fantastic. I was wondering if it was worth the money, and it definitely is. This thing can blend huge amounts of ice without a problem. It's super easy to use, to clean, and not very loud. It has many more uses than I knew, excited to use it to its full potential!

I love the heavy duty machine and the features I chose. It seems to blend everything it says it will, but my ice cubes do not completely get crushed. All other products do so far. I changed my ice settings on the freezer to crushed so that seems to work better. Its clean and sleek. I have made individual smoothies and even though the container is large, it does just fine. I'm waiting for my individual cups. They are supposed to come today. I can't wait to try them. Less water for cleaning :) I'm also anxiously waiting the smaller cup sizes. I have a grandson, now 8 months old and I want to make his food when he visits. I also want to make sauces, dips and dressings in smaller quantities. Hopefully those will be available soon.
