I've been using my vitamix A2500 for 8 months now and I love it, it really helped to have certain help when I choose smoothie that the time is set on the screen. I love the clear lid and how clear it is I can see everything. I also love that you can switch out the container and use an 8 oz jar or 20 oz jar super convenient.

I came from a Pro 500 Vitamix and I upgraded to this new Ascent series. It is worth the upgrade and worth the investment. As soon as you open the box you will notice the high quality standard that Vitamix put into this product. I like everything with this blender. At first I thought that the rubber lid will be better, but once you see and hold the new lid, it is very well constructed and the clips on the side is very strong. I like the new container as I noticed that it blends better, less need for the tamper because it is wide and having the huge 4" blade is a plus. It seems that the gears on the container that goes into the drive socket is longer than the old one, which to me it will last longer. The self detect feature is great as well for safety, as you can only run the blender when you place the container on top of the blender base. The blender base is heavy which make it more stable when blending. It is definitely much quieter than the Pro 500 that I had. The rubber pad on the top feels good to the touch which I think helps to reduce the noise. The toggle switch for pulse and start/stop have a great rugged feel to it. The digital timer is one of the great feature of this blender as it shows you for how long you are blending already and when you are using the pre-sets it will show you as to how long it will blend. Overall, this is a great blender. If you want the manual controls, pre-sets, digital timer, the new container and the 10 YEAR WARRANTY!!!. Then, this blender is for you. You can never go wrong with this. I can't wait until the new single single cup container becomes available.

I bought my Vitamix in March 2020 and have used it daily since. It's so easy to use, my children are able to whip up quick and healthy shakes and smoothies. They know the basic ingredients they can add, and they enjoy creating their own smoothie recipes. I love how easy it is to use and clean. And I love how easy it is to blend and hide vegetables into recipes for me and my family.

This is my first Vitamix blender. I purchased it to make smoothies. Big gamble. Epic failure. The smoothie function is underwhelming. Disastrous. The ingredients I use are 1.5 cups milk, protein powder, a fresh banana, ½ cup of frozen berries and 4 small ice cubes. I make sure to add them in the recommended order. In the month that I’ve owned it, the blender takes at least three passes to produce a smoothie. And I find myself constantly using the tool the push, mix, and clear air pockets. I’ve owned blenders sold at less than half the price of this blender that performed twice as better. Highly disappointed this blender cannot peform such a simple task.

I bought the Ascent based on recommendations and reviews. It is definitely a step or two above what I had. I appreciate the power and performance, however was very disappointed that the large container did not do small batches of things very well. I was dismayed that I had to purchase smaller vesicles in order to get the jobs done. With larger batches of things, there is no comparison in speed and power. I grumbled at the thought of having to shell out another couple of hundred dollars to get the cups and smoothie container and another base, but was able to score a deal using points on Amazon. Now that I have all the requisite containers, I'm happy, but I still think that one or another of the smaller containers and base should be part of the package, since one is paying an already outrageous amount for a blender. I do use it several times a week and often more than twice a day. It has changed the way I cook and prepare food.

Being a long time Vitamix user, I was comfortable with our 5200 series & its manual controls, but when we got our new A2500 I was totally blown away! I have fallen in love with the digital controls! With timed functions, variable speed control, and a very useful pulse feature, I am loving the versatility of the new control system. Another huge bonus is the shorter/wider blender jar - I much prefer this new size! I am really looking forward to the smaller sized blender cups that are being released soon as well, they will be perfect for small batches of dressings, sauces, etc. I immediately noticed the quieter yet more powerful motor because everything we make is ready in much less time with much less noise! Overall, this blender has totally won me over and it will continue to be the workhorse of our kitchen! I was sent this product in exchange for an honest review. All opinions expressed are my own.

I love my A2500!!! Previously, I was using a ninja and was unsure if I should spend so much money on a blender, but I am so glad I did! The blend you get is insanely smooth and the container is so easy to clean! This blender truly makes for the best blending experience!

I bought this Vitamix a month ago and sent it back for a refund. I had a PRO 750 that I sold to buy the new model and I am sick to my stomach I did. This blender looks and feels incredibly cheap, it's lightweight, made mostly of plastic, and I hate the new lid, especially how ingredients kick back up into the lid when blending which never happened with any of the rubber lids from my other 4 Vitamix blender I've owned over the last 4 years. Now, I'm waiting for my refund to go back into my account so I can purchase a new PRO 750 again (stainless steel model). Seriously disappointed with this new Ascent. By the way, speaking of the new self-detect technology, I hate it. I don't like having to depend on the blender to "read" the container. I'd rather just pop the blender on, blend and go. The new lid also looks incredibly cheap versus the old rubber container, as do the knobs on the new Ascent. I can't believe Vitamix would "degrade" their new models with cheap plastic, especially around the base. I thought I was getting an upgrade and have never been so disappointed in my life. Can't wait to get my new PRO 750 to have the best Vitamix option back in my opinion!

I bought the Vitamix A2500 in Black and I am so glad I did! After a year+ of debating and researching reviews and on and on and on... I decided to just go ahead and spend the money. Now, I don't have the kind of money where I can just go out buying expensive things, so this was a pretty big investment for me. I had high expectations of this product, but this machine is literally everything I wanted and MORE!!! Being vegan, I use this bad boy AT LEAST twice a day, no joke. A smoothie in the morning and Nana Ice Cream at night. The sound is loud during some blends but it's not ridiculous or anything. It sounds like any other blender. The cleaning process is crazy fast. Easier than even the NutriBullet is to clean. I can't compare it to any other Vitamix because this is my first one, but this design is so sharp and I haven't had one clumpy smoothie or ice-cream bowl. It fits perfectly under my cupboards on my counter top. I don't know how I was living without it, seriously. It's a great investment. Thank you.

Okay, first off, I love my Vitamix. I use it constantly and love to put it to good use. I use my blender for everything, I have owned the A2500 for only about 2 weeks and I have used it more than 8 times. From soup to icecream; I have made it all with no issues. It’s very intuitive and love using the perfect blend application on my iPhone or my iPad when I’m cooking. I like that I don’t have to use the app when i want to make a smoothie or a soup! Sense it has essential programs I don’t have to worry about most of the time. I like that the app recognizes what blender I have and cant wait to get 8 oz and 20 oz containers for small personal items! It’s very simple to clean, just a drop of dish soap and I fill it to the brim. With the amazing snap closure mechanism of the lid and the gasect that keep the liquid from spilling I clean the 64 oz container with ease. I like to use the perfect blend app to turn my Vitamix from a 3 programmed machine to a FULL ( no programmable timer setting sadly); programmed machine just like the Vitamix a3500 with out having to shell out more. So, it’s a win win! Definitely the best blender I have owned. It fits under my counter as well so I’m not complaining. The new design is very chic and perfect for a modern home. It’s super quiet even when I have a small NYC studio! It has a 10 year warranty so I’ll be 35 by then! Ill include some photos and video of my experience. So if you like the convenience of some common programmed settings and the extra smart app capable compatibility I would recommend this to anyone. I would say now though the 64 OZ is a very large container. You can get the smaller 48 ounce and make smaller batches! That will be next.
