I bought this today. It is my fourth Foodsaver. The new design is, in a word, horrible! Unlike all three of its predecessors in my kitchen, this unit is extremely awkward and difficult to use. I have put it back in the box for return tomorrow.

I’ve had this model, later one for over 9:years and absolutely love it and would be lost without it. It has saved us a lot of money and keeps our meat vacuumed for over a year. It is truly a very good model that I would recommend.

I am on my second foodsaver within a month, the retractable handheld vacuum has stopped working after using it twice on both foodsavers. What is the problem?
