I really like the base product so when they came out with a chocolate addition I was excited to try it…please remove the stevia sweetener it leaves a bad after taste. Some people just really like chocolate as is. I thought this would be a great addition to my morning coffee but I don’t like stevia so this is not a good addition…I will go back to plain.

I’ve been taking it for breakfast, I mix it with water and ice and blend and it tastes like a chocolate smoothie , very light and don’t leave that after taste after I drink it .

I have always wanted to take collagen, but I am on cancer meds (hormone therapy along w some others) so I have always been concerned and stayed away... Recently I saw a post in one of my groups and several women said that their oncologist said Vital Proteins collagen is ok. I am not sure why but I was so happy to read this so bought the chocolate one excited to try... Why is it soooo sweet? It doesn't need to be. It would be delicious if you just put less stevia. And cancer patients shy away from sweet stuff so this could be a huge niche market for you if you took it down a notch.

Anyway I put some powder in my morning smoothie and blend. Delicious in a cup. Granted I have only been using it a couple days so I haven’t seen any effects yet. Even with that said I would still recommend this as the taste is amazing.

She loves getting a good source of protein from this a few times a week. The only problem is that it needs some extra mixing because it can get a little clumpy. I would definitely blend it if you can instead of just stirring it.

It's great in a smoothie or protein shake, so if you're having one a day, then it will be perfect. I usually add mine to my coffee though, and I don't care for the chocolate flavor in that, or in water. But with milk, it's a nice treat. It's easy to do, as long as you don't mind a little extra work.
